The music, pixelated video and gameplay are actually done well enough that I am intrigued to try more. Initially combat fees slow. I love how spells / abilities are cast right now, it's turn based but interactive enough to make it fun. I know people are playing other things right now, but this deserves a good look. Hey guys, thanks a LOT for this thread! It makes me really happy that I managed to catch your attention and kept you entertained with my game Just to let you know, I've just published a short "Making of Erin" video, that summarizes the whole development process - https://youtu.be/OQQXVx13og4. Let me know if you like it. Have a good one! Daniel Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #7 Stronsay, Apr 3, 2017 Interesting video. Great to be able to watch the whole development process, and remarkable to see the different facets of work involved. Enjoying the game too. Every combat round like a chess move; working out the best option. It's an original concept. Also, good to see a game set in Scotland, although the haggis is not so dangerous as portrayed. mycoolroy Member Oct 20, 2012 7 0 0 #8 mycoolroy, Apr 3, 2017 Great game, Love that they used Gaelic. I can't speak for Scottish Gaelic but in Irish Gaelic which is in the same language family "sí" means ferry. "Erin" means Ireland. Font choice probably) Lots of love clearly went into it and the mechanics are really engaging. Node-based overworld with reflex-based spell casting (kinda like the Steven Universe game). It's clear that I've only scratched the surface here as there are tons of spells to learn and creatures to capture and summon. Especially since it's free to try there's no reason anyone shouldn't check this one out. saansilt ð® Spam Police ð Mar 23, 2013 3,291 0 36 #10 saansilt, Apr 19, 2017 Yeah, this one is mighty fun. The combat system is nice and makes you think a bit more than usual Rpgs. Graphics are neat and fluid and the beasties are rockin. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
