Feels weird. Rangerlump Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2010 482 23 18 #4 Rangerlump, Mar 22, 2017 I know it has energy, does it have IAP to remove it? Energy systems are a deal breaker for me. I am so ready for this trend to be over. With so many games out, one would think they would realize that they are competing with 1000's of other games for players to pick their game to play. Companies should consider it a win just to have players picking their game over others. Stooping so low as to monetize a player's desire to be in the game is ridiculous. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #5 squarezero, Mar 22, 2017 It's the Superhot formula, and I think it works pretty well here. I'm actually enjoying this quite a bit. The gameplay and level design are more varied than I expected, and the slow-time mechanic makes for some pretty awesome action: for example, facing two enemies with only one bullet, shooting one of them, running up to him and grabbing his gun while it's still in the air, then turning around and shooting the other guy. Of course, you have an energy system and two currencies, though so far the FTP elements have not been so in-your-face. Did I mention that it's one-shot kills? I've died a few times already, though thankfully levels are fairly short so it's not that bad. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #6 squarezero, Mar 22, 2017 Sadly, no. Hasn't been that big an issue, but I see where you are coming from. Yes there's an energy system, the menus are terrible, and the translation is pretty bad but it's actually really fun. It starts of very simple but later on you have to avoid a ton of bullets, traps, glass floors and stuff. There's a ton of depths in this game so far. Doesn't seem to have anything related to IAPS aside from the energy system and reviving so far. Definitely worth trying. The graphics are good and it runs at 60fps. The slow motion looks amazing. My only complaint is that it gets grindy... like any freemium game... zeroex Well-Known Member May 20, 2014 344 25 28 #8 zeroex, Mar 22, 2017 This. I love the idea of the time mechanic but hate how the game implements it. Zumoly Member May 18, 2015 21 0 0 #9 Zumoly, Mar 22, 2017 I'll pass Internet requirement isn't really necessary here. Ive been dying for a Superhot 2 but I guess this will do. HEiRAVON Well-Known Member Dec 3, 2015 214 24 18 #11 HEiRAVON, Mar 22, 2017 Game Center bug won't allow the game to load. It tries to load, but gets stuck on initial loading screen after Game Center loading loop. iPod6 latest iOS version. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #12 squarezero, Mar 22, 2017 That's the thing: I get it that some people don't dig this approach to time-based gameplay. But for people who have played and enjoyed Superhot, this feels like a nice evolution of the concept (and not a straight rip-off). Contrafan Member Mar 22, 2017 6 0 0 #13 Contrafan, Mar 22, 2017 Nice concept so far, but not really satisfying to play. Is multiplayer worthwhile? Pyapiopi Well-Known Member Sep 13, 2014 249 0 0 #14 Pyapiopi, Mar 23, 2017 I'm actually enjoying the first multiplayrr mode. It's essentially a speed run vs another player but it really makes you learn to perfect things. I cant imagine any kind of multiplayer for this type of game, how can you fighting each other while everone can super slowmo whenever they want ? There is multiplayer button there, but i cant imagine how it will work lol Contrafan Member Mar 22, 2017 6 0 0 #16 Contrafan, Mar 23, 2017 Cool to hear that multiplayer plays like that, had no clue how it could work with the slow mo otherwise! Do you see the person you're running against or anything like that? Pyapiopi Well-Known Member Sep 13, 2014 249 0 0 #17 Pyapiopi, Mar 23, 2017 Ya you see like s blue digital silhouette of the player. It's a race to end but if one of you dies the other automatically wins. Kenan2000 Well-Known Member Nov 25, 2013 1,134 1 38 #18 Kenan2000, Aug 21, 2017 You can remove energy now in this awesome fps!
