Very interesting mechanic, plays really good, I am only at the first chapter but this is fun to play.
Already played. (This video shows puzzles throughout the game, so it's more spoilery. It also wasn't meant to be 30 minutes long but I rambled a bit.) Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel This is the first 2.5 chapters if you prefer that: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
This game was awesome on PC! The whole time I played it I was baffled as to how this wasn't on touch screen mobile devices first. Finally I get to experience it the way it seemed to have been intended
I played the first chapter on PC after I completed the game on my iPhone and I have to agree. So perfect for touchscreens.
Been waiting on this.Im so happy today. This & Kingdoms out in one day. Damn good day so far Mobile gaming just keeps getting beter.I love it
Well crap... I've been wanting to play this one for a while. Five more dollars this week. I only sound irritated because of my backlog. It keeps expanding... (Like some kind of alien mushroom! Clear part of it, and more expands elsewhere!) These "premium mobile gaming is dead and gone" people are in a different universe. If the stream of good premium game releases ever did dry up completely, I could live off my backlog for years.
Same! There's so many classics I haven't even played that I keep downloading and then deleting (for space) before I get to play them.
How frantic/unforgiving is this? Is it the sort of game that people who don't generally play platformers could still be ok with?
I went into much more detail in my review, but I usually hate platformers. And I definitely cursed at it sometimes and worried I might not be able to finish it. But I did and it was so worth the effort. I suggest playing on an iPhone over iPad, though. It was much more comfortable for me.
Cool, thanks. This strikes me as the sort of game I will love because of the atmosphere, but suck at (e.g. World of goo)
It's definitely way more than its atmosphere. But I totally get where you're coming from. That's why I made that video that includes some stuff from each level. The first two levels (and some of third) are pretty relaxed, but it gets tougher after that.
