After many years, I decided to get back into making games. I made my first one for iOS and released it last week. I would love to get some feedback from this community. I think it's pretty addicting It's called Manix. It's a mashup/homage to the classic arcades of the 1970's, but plays like a modern game with one-handed controls. It's also totally free, with no ads or in-app purchases. Just as well there is that option. I like the variable gearing of the paddle. Not so much sliding needed to move it. Nice sound effects over phones and catchy elctro tunes. Only thing I miss is being able to control ball angle depending where it hits the paddle, so removing the final brick takes time. Quality game though. Much addictiveness. This was my first shot at an iOS game. Of course I started with the classic brick breaking, but then I got a bit carried away! I plan to add more game modes in the next update, perhaps mixing in classic Galaga-type gameplay with the bricks. Glad you enjoyed it! I've always wanted to get into the game-making business and it's nice to get good feedback like this. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
