You have roll dice to create your character and off you want on the adventure . What was unquie about a FF book was the way you read it. For example you come to junction in path you following do you east then turn to 34 or west turn to 312. The numbers representing paragraphs of text you turn too to carry on you path you have choicen. So you couldn't cheat and read the last page of book as ending would be somewhere in book. There was something like 30 books released like this, they would so work on a tablet if only tin man did all of them. Going to be interesting to see how this version of firetop plays out. I loved sorcery BTW Very simple gameplay, and beautiful presentation. If you played WOFTM as a gamebook it will seem familiar and brand new at the same time. The power of the story comes in that every single hero has their own perspective, they see different things, hear different things and the same story is written in many different ways. This leads to many paths opening up as well. Towards the latter part of the game is a procedural generated maze which keeps runs even with the same char nice and fresh. Buy with confidence. I paid $50AU dollars for MacOS version on kickstarter and will be buying again for IOS NOTE: the kickstarter also reached a certain reward level and TMG will be releasing WOFTM in their gamebook engine as well as this version drelbs Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2009 11,201 7 38 #16 drelbs, Feb 22, 2017 Holy mother of monkey milk! mzinn Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2014 770 0 16 #17 mzinn, Feb 22, 2017 Yes!
