ChaseHolton Well-Known Member Feb 16, 2017 98 9 8 Male Independent Game Developer Ann Arbor, MI http://www.whenslunchgames.com #6 ChaseHolton, Feb 16, 2017 It is level based, 25 levels. The power ups are more in the form of elements in the environment: freezing your rocks to freeze enemies, fires to burn wooden objects to burn enemies etc. I wanted it to have the randomness of physics with throws and explosions to really make the gameplay dynamic. There are cosmetic unlocks like different paints and hats though! I played through the first four levels. Controls are pretty tight.....left thumb to move, tap w right to roll, and three action buttons (jump and pick up object/throw). Have to pick up boxes and other objects, hold to "charge" and then throw at an enemy. It's been pretty straight forward through four levels and excited to see how it evolves. Great job. This game may be optimized for smaller screens, but on the iPad it can be difficult. Here's why: ISSUES 1. The roll area is too high on the right hand side 2. The right hand controls are too low in the corner causing me to slide (not stretch out my hand) if I wanted to reach the roll area (see #1) 3. The right hand controls are too tiny for folks with "fat fingers". Heck, I couldn't finish the tutorial because I kept missing the jump button for the finesse and timing moves RECOMMENDATIONS A. Make #3 a larger pad B. Make #1 cover more real estate C. Create the option to resized and/or move the touch-control elements I had to delete this game because (at least for me) it was unplayable on my iPad. I tried to download it onto my iPhone 5 to see how it played on a smaller screen, but alas and alack, it is out of basic requirements. ChaseHolton Well-Known Member Feb 16, 2017 98 9 8 Male Independent Game Developer Ann Arbor, MI http://www.whenslunchgames.com #13 ChaseHolton, Feb 16, 2017 I have seen the tiny controls on iPads as well, I've got some optimizations to make for sure! I appreciate the feedback and the next patch will include fixes for these issues. I apologize for the oversight and between the Android release and tablet optimizations I hopefully have it ready ASAP. Thank you for checking it out regardless and every bit of feedback goes towards a better game in the end.
