You have saved my gaming Sunday, haha. This along with Frostrune makes it a wonderful week for me. It ticks all the right boxes. Gives rewards for defeating new or specific number of monsters, a shop that can be upgraded and which offers both temporary bonuses such as gear and helpful stuff as well as permanent upgrades. The difficulty level is also more challenging than the graphics might imply. Took me already a while just to get past the first dungeon floor, haha. Otherwise I can only confirm what has already been written. Highly polished, very colorful, and with a great soundtrack - definitely worth the price. I love roguelikes and dungeon crawlers and I pretty much stalk the App Store constantly looking for new premium titles and this is probably the best release I have bought since BOI Jamesrooney27 Well-Known Member May 13, 2014 541 0 16 Male Uk #10 Jamesrooney27, Feb 4, 2017 Nice Saturday release wish there could be more sugimulm Well-Known Member Aug 28, 2010 2,457 46 48 The last time zone for iOS game releases :( #11 sugimulm, Feb 4, 2017 Love it! Challenging and quite polished. Typical rogue-like, don't let the cutesy graphics fool you, plays damn good IMHO. So far early, but can see this will be a good one indeed. Tap to move, tap to target your attack. Looks like dungeons are randomly generated. Early mpressions are very positive. Good find Repulsa! squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,715 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #12 squarezero, Feb 4, 2017 I've put a fair amount of time on this, and I'm just more and more impressed by the level of polish. A quick example: you can pinch to zoom out and see how much of a level you've explored. When you do, the ambient sounds get lower and muffled, as if you were listening from a distance. Now, that's clever. The weapon and progression systems are really well thought out, too, achieving a nice balance between a rogue-like start-from-zero harshness and making you feel like you're getting somewhere with the game. And combat is not (always) a simple tap-to-attack affair: timing plays a role, with fast-reacting players being able to avoid damage altogether. It helps that there is a nice variety of monsters, many of which have special attack or defense abilities. There are also trap rooms that require quick-reflexes but pay off with excellent rewards. I would have been happy to pay $10+ for this on my 3DS. A fantastic surprise! raravan Well-Known Member May 18, 2014 829 38 28 #13 raravan, Feb 4, 2017 i feel the same about this game. it's kinda Nintendoish. :3 slewis7 Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 3,768 41 48 Male Retired!
