I've never really stuck with a game like this, but now's my chance. new_ipodtouch5G_owner Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2015 386 46 28 Canada #4 new_ipodtouch5G_owner, Feb 1, 2017 I haven't played many of these tower building games, but the artwork looks great and very whimsical. I am kind of addicted to playing Shooty Skies right now, the developer's other game, and have put a lot of hours into it. So I don't mind giving Charming Keep a try. Hambo12 Well-Known Member Jul 23, 2012 1,943 28 48 on the internet #5 Hambo12, Feb 1, 2017 so i been playing this for the past 2 hours...... one word to describe this game: Amazing. the graphics are very lovely and adorable like tiny thief. the gameplay is like a clicker you tap to collect money and build new buildings and make more money and repeat like tiny tower but more fast paced. you don't have to worry about having to always be on and tap on the money it will collect itself automatically when you level up a building and buy a store for your character to work in. fun little game to past the time. new_ipodtouch5G_owner Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2015 386 46 28 Canada #6 new_ipodtouch5G_owner, Feb 2, 2017 Not really sure what I have done, I just kept upgrading the charms. But WOW! It looks like I have earned over 12 trillion gold coins along with 6 diamonds. Tapping the animals at the bottom of the castle have been giving me insane amounts of coins. I really don't remember any game allowing me to earn this much money so quickly. I actually kind of like this game because it has been very generous to me. I am kind of curious to see how high I might be able to go. I wonder if I can go as high as a Quadrillion? I'll try it more though, interesting with different rarity shop and staff for them but I'll have to carry on to see if it's all much of the same or does have much different about it. Am I doing something wrong? ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #13 ste86uk, Feb 2, 2017 I get that feeling too like the game is very slowly unlocking and introducing more but if so it does seem extremely slowly. I like how you add towers and don't have to prestige and start all over again and that the old tower do give you bonuses as you carry on with new ones. But I do wish there were more ways to manage staff to get ones that are rarer with better bonuses and the same goes for floors. Unstablefan Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Feb 22, 2013 858 12 18 #14 Unstablefan, Feb 2, 2017 I don't get that feeling at all. I'm on the third keep and it seems to be exactly the same as the first. KeKhan Well-Known Member May 28, 2012 1,381 43 48 #15 KeKhan, Feb 2, 2017 Old keeps add to the "profit bonus" based on how many princes you saved before moving on. The profit bonus adds up over time and becomes way more noticeable in how fast you accumulate money. The other thing I noticed is that every time you choose a new keep, you have a choice of "faction ". (Human, elf, goblin, or neutral) It seems that each keep of a certain faction increases the chances of getting that faction as a helper when you hire for a floor. The elves are purple and have longer ears, the goblins are green, etc. I'm not sure but I think the helpers get boosted stats if they are working in a keep of their faction. So it's another way to choose how you keep playing. Focus or be diverse? So far it seems like the elves tend to be faster, and the goblins earn more, and the humans are balanced. The keepers have different spells to unlock as you level them up. A lot going on under the surface of this title, and I'm enjoying it. Just wanted to pop in and say that we are keeping an eye on the thread and we are keen for feedback. We do have a lot going on under the hood of the game, but we're planning to really build on the foundations we have in place. More spells, more shops, more VIPs, and more variety as you get deeper in the Charm levels. That's some of what we have on the drawing board, let us know what else you'd like to see. We also have a patch in the works to help refine the game in the light of a bunch of good and thoughtful comments/ reviews. Cheers! Just wish there was a bit more game-iness to it. I don't really play this kind of thing and maybe that's the point. So I've been a little obsessive on this game the last couple of days, and I've managed to unlock most of the achievements. I can't seem to figure out how to level up my keepers though? I can buy a spell with gems, but no matter how many spots I buy with gems in my keepers spell book, there aren't any spells for them. Level one is locked and I can't unlock it.
