Just name your world whatever you want, and start building! Any player can also build on the map until you place a world lock. Be sure to play tomorrow night during the livestream, it should be a ton of fun Have fun! -Phil Anotherkellydown Moderator Staff Member Patreon Bronze Feb 10, 2014 4,577 1,132 113 Male CAD Technician I Upstate NY https://youtube.com/channel/UCcvu9xhE7xT-mZrXUZQJr5g #5 Anotherkellydown, Feb 1, 2017 Sweet! I grabbed the pro-pack after playing for a couple minutes. I'm a sucker for that retro game look. Found the controls worked really well (iPad mini - didn't try on iPhone) especially with the auto-fire you get with the pro-pack. I was in some lobby (shortly after the TA article announcing the game release) and it filled up with a lot of people then eventually died off until I was the last one there. I had collected 300 or so coins but couldn't build so I left. I'll have to try the right way next time and check in on Carter's stream. Hopefully I'll be available to join in. I can see some free players being upset about the premium people having an advantage with the extra hearts and auto-fire, but really it's more of a "try it totally free and pay a couple bucks if you like it". philhassey Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Mar 28, 2010 95 0 0 Colorado http://www.galcon.com/ #6 philhassey, Feb 1, 2017 Cool, I'm glad your digging the game! Thanks for buying the pro-pack Every bit helps! And, yeah, if someone has already locked a map, you have to go to an unlocked world to begin to build. -Phil forcemajeure Well-Known Member Dec 15, 2009 64 1 8 Male QA #7 forcemajeure, Feb 1, 2017 I bought the pro pack but still didn't figure out how to enable auto fire. You still have to touch the screen with auto-fire, just hold instead of having to tap continuously. If you have just placed an item you bought, then immediately exit the app and go back in, you still keep the amount of coins you had before. forcemajeure Well-Known Member Dec 15, 2009 64 1 8 Male QA #10 forcemajeure, Feb 1, 2017 Thank you! forcemajeure Well-Known Member Dec 15, 2009 64 1 8 Male QA #11 forcemajeure, Feb 1, 2017 I'm yaron and we had a great fights there philhassey Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Mar 28, 2010 95 0 0 Colorado http://www.galcon.com/ #12 philhassey, Feb 1, 2017 Oh hey, oops! Anyway, I've been enjoying the game quite a bit lately, and I can see it advancing a lot. I'd really like to see a chat system, whether it be pre written or not, as well as new objects in the future. It's like a mix of Powder Toy and other games. It's quite unique. I want more! PS, bought the pro pack as well, to support the game! philhassey Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Mar 28, 2010 95 0 0 Colorado http://www.galcon.com/ #17 philhassey, Feb 1, 2017 Thanks, glad you're enjoying it! Yes - this game's primary influences were Growtopia and Combat. I've got a lot of ideas for things I could add This game could expand a lot for sure. -Phil P.S. I've almost got this bugfix update ready, will be submitting it later today. Enjoyed it - not too sure what i was doing though. Kinda Robotron/Berzerk vibe. Tried with an MFi Controller but it didn't work - would be magic with a controller. I'll jump in again at the weekend when I get more time but colour me impressed so far. philhassey Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Mar 28, 2010 95 0 0 Colorado http://www.galcon.com/ #19 philhassey, Feb 1, 2017 Hey glad you are enjoying it! It's a creative tank battle game, so once you've collected enough coins you can go ahead and start building new arenas. I've got MFi support on my TODO list, so hopefully I'll get that in sometime -Phil repapermunky Well-Known Member Aug 29, 2012 624 0 0 #20 repapermunky, Feb 2, 2017 So as far as coins and building go, I think there should probably be some sort of either an inventory, or if not that, when I destroy a world lock, maybe put one big coin that is equal to 1000 coins. Because let's say I am to spend real money on coins, and I build a ton of stuff, I'd be kinda upset if I wanted to change things around and the coins I purchased went to waste. Or maybe at least get half of the coins you spent back. I don't know, just something to seriously consider... (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
