How many times can you break the game?a unique incremental idle tap game experience for iPhone iOS 10+ Information Seller: Genre:Simulation, Strategy Release:Jan 25, 2017 Updated:Nov 30, -0001 Version: Size:0.0 TouchArcade Rating:Unrated User Rating: (2) Your Rating:unrated Compatibility:HD Universal Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 954 208 43 #2 Stronsay, Jan 29, 2017 This game is slightly baffling, but the object of the exercise appears to be to get one's mojo working; something I'm sure many of us have wished to do at sometime or other. I know I have. Inactive mojo is obtained upon construction of 40 and/or 80 extraction facilities. Building these facilities requires energy generated by Centaur 82 robots, which are built by Cobra R robots, which are built by X-31 Bolts, which are built by Hellion C's, and so on. Not sure how far this goes yet. Then there are the aliens, probes, power crystals, and of course the Prestige needed to finally activate mojo. I probably haven't explained it very well, but in-game help is provided should any confusion arise. triptych Well-Known Member Jul 29, 2012 203 0 0 #3 triptych, Jan 31, 2017 Looks like Spreadsheet: The Game! Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 954 208 43 #4 Stronsay, Jan 31, 2017 That's actually a good description. What's going on here is so complex, with so many interacting variables, that the spreadsheet format is probably the only way to present all the data and keep it manageable. Having said that I quite like the "graphic" design. The creative use of different fonts makes it easier to take in the ever expanding volume of information. The gameplay is not your standard 'idler', having considerably more depth. It involves sacrificing set numbers of units to make more powerful ones, which will in turn produce more of the sacrificed units for free. This leads to some difficult decisions later on. At the moment, for example, I have to decide if I want to sacrifice one million Vixen mark 1's to make one Emperor D-9, even though this will save having to keep buying Vixens. I'm not sure it's worth it. That is just one small part of the gameplay, but it's at the core of what's happening and will affect many other aspects of mojo production. This is well worth a look for people who like numbers. And spreadsheets. richardlycn013 Member Jun 1, 2015 23 0 1 #5 richardlycn013, Feb 2, 2017 If anyone is wondering what this game is like it is pretty much a clone of swarmsim, at least in my eyes it is. StratAll Well-Known Member Dec 24, 2009 160 17 18 #6 StratAll, Feb 3, 2017 This is actually a pretty nifty incremental game. If you have experience with these kind of games, you'll find a lot of the familiar elements in the game : energy takes the role of money here with mojo being the 'prestige' currency. The game is in fact more diversified and can look intimidating by the options it gives you to proceed along your curve to ever higher numbers. Mojo is earned by building up your infrastructure of extraction facilities which give you power crystals. They are built by robots which bootstrap themselves in a sort of 'Factorio'-esque way in the sense that your lowest tier of robots generate energy, but your 2nd generation robots builds the lower tier, the third one build the 2nd tier and so on. Aliens don't have this bootstrap and are summoned for probes. Probes give you bonuses to your power crystal generation. The second infrastructure buildings are warp gates that use the resources described above to generate plasma. Plasma is the 'bonus' resource which allows you to 'skip time' so resources are auto-generated as if x minutes had passed. The interface is bare bones but it really suits the theme. As far as I can see there are 2 IAP : a permanent production doubler for 1 EUR and a plasma capacity doubler so you can store more 'skip time' the next time you boot up the game. It does not seem to require an internet connection either to play. huhbuhbuh Member Jan 28, 2017 5 0 0 #7 huhbuhbuh, Feb 8, 2017 Version 1.3.0 Released What's New in Version 1.3.0 New "Broke The Game" infinite gameplay added. While many incremental games eventually crash on you once numbers get to large for your device to handle, never to be played again, Robots & Aliens features "Broke The Game" functionality.
