Of course I could wrestle with them still while not at full health but that puts me at a disadvantage. I am finding the game pretty fun. rockhount Active Member Jun 27, 2013 41 0 6 #3 rockhount, Jan 27, 2017 Battery drain from hell...to bad the game is quite enjoyable steelbusnole New Member Jan 27, 2017 2 0 0 #4 steelbusnole, Jan 27, 2017 Fully agree. Fun game but drains battery even when the phone is plugged in. Amenbrother Well-Known Member Jun 24, 2011 6,659 7 38 #5 Amenbrother, Jan 27, 2017 Man imagine if they made an actual wrestling game with these graphics it would be awesome! I mean the characters look great. Mr. Charley Well-Known Member Sep 6, 2008 2,628 38 38 #6 Mr. Charley, Jan 27, 2017 I hate to admit it but I'm enjoying it despite the f2p shenanigans and gatcha system. I agree brother. The animations are actually really good. Wish the board was slightly bigger as well but otherwise surprisingly enjoying the game. The match-3 is cleverly implemented and the matches have a nice buildup to the eventual finish. Much like puzzle quest after enough progress you will have to consider each move you make and using your abilities (maneuvers) at the right time is important to try and chain combos together or to nullify your opponents opportunities. + great graphics with the match taking place above the game board. + more gameplay depth than other WWE offerings on the App Store + good amount of wrestlers for initial release + pin system is more exciting than any WWE game in recent memory. -+ At the beginning there's plenty of waiting around waiting for your wrestlers to heal after you run out of health packs but as your personal roster of characters gets bigger this issue should be at least somewhat alleviated. Still an issue though. - crazy battery drain - very slow wrestler recovery - five health pack max is very stingy compared to some other f2p match-3's The very under appreciated WWE ALL STARS on the last gen of consoles had a very similar look. Kung Fu Factory did a fantastic job on the characters. gunshot24 New Member Sep 14, 2012 1 0 0 #8 gunshot24, Jan 27, 2017 The graphics are insane I love it and it's epic to the very last minute when you play this game correct!!! _hnng_ Well-Known Member Apr 2, 2016 48 0 0 #9 _hnng_, Jan 27, 2017 Stupidly designed game This game is extremely stupid. I played for about 10 minuets and have 3 levels I can choose from in story mode. Each level requires a specific character to play and I have none of them....... The only way you can buy briefcases to get more characters is buy paying real money for 'cash' in the game. You also earn gold coins, but cannot buy loot crates with them. This game was an easy decision for me...uninstall!!! JasonLL Well-Known Member Feb 21, 2014 546 106 43 Male #10 JasonLL, Jan 27, 2017 I remember receiving Roman Reigns early on from one of the preset rewards. Reigns is needed to progress along the path since he is a powerhouse character. You may have missed a node where you received him. Iv'e completed all four chapters in the NXT tour and the only required characters along the main path so far are characters that the game gives everyone (Rock, Cena, Reigns, NXT Ambrose, NXT Rollins, Authority Triple H) without needing to get lucky to pull the appropriate superstar. There's usually a way to do the 'branching paths' a little further on (like how you have to complete the main route of the first area to get Seth Rollins and go back to do that sub-mission that REQUIRES Seth). I also had to wait until the start of my second day to get the free "Kane, Director of Operations" before I could fight Kevin Owens - you need a Trickster alignment character for that. Never viewed any version of Kane as 'Trickster' alignment, but whatever Has the game actually been out elsewhere or in Beta for a long time, though? I see factions out there with Level 60+ characters and people who last logged in 200+ days ago ... ramzarules Well-Known Member Sep 13, 2014 2,112 128 63 Greece #13 ramzarules, Jan 28, 2017 yeap, this was soft launched some time ago, maybehalf a year? i tried it then, it was too money hungry and grindy. I see some improved rewards in the update notes down the months, so i'm willing to try it again. Another of the few match 3 battlers with animations - every time i see one, i have to remember to not get my hopes up much sadly - until the next Hero Emblems. Laire Well-Known Member Feb 4, 2012 586 0 0 Overworked Graphic Designer :) https://www.facebook.com/Peridot.Weapon #14 Laire, Jan 28, 2017 Good to know. If I'm "late to the dance" that means I'll add it to my list of casual games - I'll play the single player mode, completely ignore any multiplayer aspects (since it'll be impossible to even TRY to rank) and freemium-play until I lose interest. Why game designers still haven't caught on to the fact that a "beta" should be just that is beyond me. Lock premium currency, use the Beta for actual TESTING, give a minor exclusive 'perk' to those who assisted in the Beta when it's over but nothing game-breaking, and return all players to Level 1. Oh, wait, Betas are profitable (and where they fish for long-term whales). Game balance? What was I thinking? shuckydarns Member Sep 24, 2014 7 0 0 #15 shuckydarns, Jan 28, 2017 This is a pretty fun game so far in my opinion. It will also help me learn some of the new wrestlers so I can keep up when my son inevitably starts watching the shows. If you're looking for a Faction, search for Donuts. I'm on pretty regularly and will help out when I can. Scubasteve New Member Feb 3, 2017 4 0 0 #16 Scubasteve, Feb 3, 2017 Fun The game is pretty fun, I must admit. The animations are great and I like that you don't HAVE to use real money to progress, although I'm sure that if helps. I'm currently a level 7 or so but I don't quite understand the tricksters. I have a few questions about their moves. What are the silences that you create? How are they helpful? Once I have created the silences, am I supposed to use those gems or should I let my opponent trip up on them? I'm not sure if the reverse is true. The more I play this game, the more I realize that there's some decent strategy underneath it all. Scubasteve New Member Feb 3, 2017 4 0 0 #19 Scubasteve, Feb 3, 2017 Agreed. There are plenty of times where you play defensively. It's way more enjoyable than in thought it would be. It kinda reminds me of wrestlemania 2000 on Nintendo 64.
