It looks like there could well be a pretty decent lite tactical rpg here. There is a heap of stuff to organise and a lot of customising your army and character. But the tutorial is unfortunately woeful and there is a lot of unexplained menus and game decisions to make. This is a game that is desperately in need of a guide or a game manual....or at least the devs need to make a much better tutorial. If everything could be explained then this could well be a game worth considering. However as it currently stands it's a bit of a mess. While it is currently free, I have yet to see any IAP or premium currency, so this is either a limited time sale or they are going to have change the game to make money. Basically what I'm saying is grab this game now if it interests you at all, very fun IMO. It's a tactic used to draw attention to an app from people who use tools such as appshopper or appzap-an immediate price decrease can draw a lot of attention. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #11 stubbieoz, Jan 19, 2017 Last edited: Jan 20, 2017 It was showing the full price when I went to buy it two days ago but when I tapped to purchase it the game just downloaded for free. ojtitus Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2010 3,228 5 38 Male Canton, Ohio #12 ojtitus, Jan 19, 2017 I know, that's why the eye roll. I'm about to hit level 30, and the comments about Mount and Blade are very accurate as it seems to be an attempt to make a fuctional mobile alternative to the pc game. As a result, I'll continue to note the similarities, if only for anyone who's played said game to be encouraged to try it The way some of the menus at the bottom are grouped together indicate that this is supposed to be a mobile friendly version of m&b, in the sense that a lot of the UI management stuff is extremely similar. You can level individual units and take over other towns and castles, then garrison followers with fiefs under their control so they'll partially manage defense and the like. I'm down to me and another AI who's taken over a good chunk of the map. I've found that there's a few issues with progression later on, as once you've taken over most of an AI's lands and condensed them down, try to take over castles with a %60 advantage on their part and 80 super elite troops pretty much creates a stalemate later on. It's gotten to the point where the only way to currently take more land is to siege a castle on one end of their kingdom then rush to the other side to siege another castle while the AI sends everything it has to the original castle under siege. Over time with constant followe changes, captures, ransoms and all that I've had a few issues with clones and over time your castles empty as the game seems to lose track of who's looking after where. Later on once things slow down your only companionship on the map are a limited number (8-9?) of bandit spawn points which seem to have set values on their strength and incredibly small wander areas. All in all a decent and fairly accurate mobile port of mount and blade's gameplay, although with a few balance issues and bugs. I understand this review may not be helpful to everyone, but it's more the game's issue due to a lacklustre tutorial but the similarities are so striking that I honesly can't really sum it up any better than 'm&b mobile' because that's quite literally what the developer is trying to realise. I'm curious to see where this goes because if the world is filled out a bit more I think this could be a good one to keep handy for long journeys Kaje85 Active Member Apr 17, 2013 33 0 0 #19 Kaje85, Jan 21, 2017 Price is still premium in the U.K. Store. ojtitus Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2010 3,228 5 38 Male Canton, Ohio #20 ojtitus, Jan 21, 2017 It appears you missed the sale.
