I think a very neat feature would be to add the 'god finger' :)

basically, aside from selecting which chars to send in a wave, and upgrades/etc, the interactivity is rather passive.

SO, i was thinking, that by placing your finger on one of your guys, you could be effectively 'inspiring' him through some godly intervention and he would perform better (+ATK or +DEF +RANGE +SPEED /etc, whatever) for the duration of your finger being on that character. perhaps a minor boost? depending on balancing of course.

Conversely, if you hold your finger on an attacker, you could perhaps "put the hex of god" on that particular mob and your characters would ignore all others and attack that one only for the duration of your finger resting on him/her/it.

Additionally, i think some type of sweeping motion on a damaged base could be used to very slowly rebuild yours.

I think adding these types of OPTIONAL things would add a bit of extra strategy, as you would have to manage the use of your godly powers at the expense of calling upon additional troops to send into the mayhem. that could possibly be adjusted to also use a cool down timer between uses, starting at the end of your last finger removal.

i think its a neat idea anyway.

    Thoughts...

I'd like to see terrain implemented in some way. Perhaps elevation such that it is harder for 'cavalry' types to fight uphill, or archer puppet range is increased on a peak, etc.

Would always love more unit types, though I understand the balancing is tough.

Might also be nice to upgrade the mid-field structures into some kind of towers?

I will propose the following to make the game more fun:

    1. openfeint multiplayer integration
    2. More game save slots to save my game progress.
    3. Weapons that pop out from the stage ground when I choose below the game screen.
    4. Puppets screaming sounds when they attack.
    5. I can grow puppets by tapping on them right from the sky or air and they will charge and attack.
    6. I can grow multiple puppets or different variety of puppets by selecting their damage type - gun, bazoka, missile, archer etc.
    7. The game can reward the player with a graphical game card if the gamer wins the game using that special class of puppets only.
    8. To add the another game mode which is to see how far my puppets can go and attack the enemies - the longer the distance I can cover without dying makes me the longest survivor.
    9. I can summon different types of puppets pet animals to attack the enemies. But I must harvest plants to grow them or buy them from in-app purchase.
    10. More landscape maps and maybe different missions - like to rescue the puppet princess or to find the mining gold before the enemies find it.
    11. Bluetooth gaming with another player.
    12. I can swing my puppet across the screen and smash those enemies up like a rag doll.
    13. I can see other online people strategies on how to conquer the enemies by refering them online, perhaps seeing them in live action as a video - these can act as tips for my reference if I am doing badly in the game.

I am really enjoying BOP, but one really cool addition I would love to see is online multiplayer!

Imagine if you could go head to head with a friend over the internet. I could see each player selecting one or two professions before the start of the match. Then perhaps a coin flip to see who's troop of puppets would get the home-team (weather advantage). And then the battle would be on!

Within a multiplayer environment it'd be cool if you had the ability to unlock a gesture that would allow you to temp "bring down the curtains" on your opponent, blocking their view of the game for a short period of time.

I think this would add a really fun aspect to the game. Although implementing this via local wifi and blutooth would be okay, I usually stick solely to online multiplayer and so I'd prefer this option. The key would be to have a way to find/challenge your friends in real-time. Perhaps a random/and or directed matchm, aking system like Com2uS' Homerun 3D Battle. I'm not sure if one of the social networking platforms (like OpenFeint, Plus+ or Crystal) supports this feature yet.

    Other suggestions:

Perhaps a class of puppets that have the ability to leave traps (when tapped). If you make your own troops susceptible to said traps then players would need to decide when to lay them.

A scissor profession/weapon, perhaps via a profession gesture, players would gain access to a pair of scissors that that could be thrown or used (via gesture) to attempt to cut the strings of the oncoming puppets.

3 things I would like to see?

-varied terrain, with split paths maybe adding a reward for taking one path vs another, like extra money or more fame. (if you have played Swords & Soldiers for WiiWare you know what I mean)

-each proffession should have a different set of spells.

-some kind of story or banter before each match, or even during the battle to liven them up a little.

These three things I think would take this game from good to awesome!

    I love this game.

    - Plus+ integration. (would go way better with the game opposed to openfeint. See reasoning in main thread.)

    - In game Hero Summons with cooldown for super attacks/buffs that is unique per hero. (Madama Butterfly, Carmen, Aida, etc.) equivilent to the bomb/poison gas airstrikes in Trenches or 2012 Z vs. A.

    - two+ additional unique units per faction with special skills contingent to there faction that will more strategy to gameplay. (healers, buffers, mythical creatures of legend, magic users, etc.)

I would love to see those three the most so those are my choices. Here are some others (couldn't resist.):

    - a fast forward button (like defender chronicles.)
    - multiplayer would be a sweet addition.
    - an option to turn on/off health gauges.
    - an option to put unit types at bottom of screen so you can create them on the fly while watching battle rather than having to keep scrolling back to your building to cue them. It's good to see what's going on so you can manage units better.

I'd like to enter, and I think it'd be cool to have:
    1) More operas
    2) Integration with Crystal, Openfeint, Plus+, and the like.
    3) International locations, maybe with actual locations where the certain opera would get a homefield advantage. (Madame Butterfly in Japan)
    4) Multiplayer, but that would be very difficult.
    5) Maybe a way to create your own puppet army. It may have some preset bodies, but you could change the clothing or face with say a picture from the camera roll/photo library. Another tough thing, but I think it'd be cool.
    6) Fast Forward Button would be great.

easy: More units, with special powers so that you have to pick which one you like nest suck as a slow but powerful one, or a fast but weak unit.
like others there should be an open fient with acheivments and such.
well theres a lot more i would say, bt you said three so...
multiplayer that you can play against your friends.
