in terms of which is better on the i device its gangstar because its the only one you can play. i tried to play cjs2 and gta but i just couldnt get into them partly because of the graphics but this is due in large part to the fact THAT THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN THE APPSTORE YET so i havent seen the graphics. the non availability factor is a big minus i think not only does it affect the gameplay but i bet its not helping the sales any either. i hope they fix this in an update.
Well to be fair, the topic title does say "which will win?", so it kinda implies that we're making guesses about future events here.
I actually cannot believe people are voting for Gangstar over an acual GTA title. It is obvious, just by playing Gangstar, that it does not even come close to comparing to Chinatown Wars. I guess everyone has a right to their own opinion.
Uh... this is like asking whether the original is better than the blatant clones. GTA:CW is an absolutely amazing game, and if it stays true to the DS/PSP version the game will blow everything else available on the App Store out of the water. There is absolutely no comparison.

Well we really can't get a fair say since neither GTA nor Car Jack Streets 2 are out yet, in fact, Tag says CJS 2 won't be coming until 2010. Also, I think people will be bias against CJS 2 even though it will be 3D only because of the disappointment that came from the first CJS.

I like the full 3D view of Gangstar but the content in GTA CW is massive and is a very polished and fun game so GTA CW will definetly be better. I accidentally voted for Gangstar though, when I saw the first option which was gangstar, I thought the choices were Gangstar, Payback & CJS so I automatically voted for it. It was only when I looked at the results when I found out GTA CW was included as an option.
Chinawars i think would be the best among the three because first it's from the original creator whom people loved.Secondly,it's a port from portable gaming device which got a lot of positive reactions and which means more depth and more contents.But let's give chance and respect to CJ2,although i didn't liked their first game because i got dizzy when i first played it.I liked more Payback and i enjoyed it until i updated it and suddenly all controls make the character move forward(that's pretty funny,hahah).Cj2 is said to be in full 3d like Gangstar and GTA 3 so i prefer this more but it still depends on how they make it,if it's with the level of gangstar i might get it but might not last on my iphone but if they make it a full 3d game with contents and depth like Chinawars in DS then it will be a monster game for all of us craving for an epic game for iDevices.
Which is silly because of the three GTA style games released on iPhone/touch the one that is most similar to GTA:Chinatown Wars is Payback, IMHO. Again, I point out that GTA:CTW is NOT top down 2D, but 3D in 3/4 view, and that makes a BIG difference in how the game feels. CTW is NOT like the older 2D top down GTA games but it's own separate beast entirely. Anyone who remembers Payback when it was a strictly top down affair knows what I mean. The change to 3/4 view changed things up drastically. Driving was easier as you could see further ahead, you could spot cops further ahead which made for slightly more time and leeway to plan getaways or take a stand, etc. Same deal with the top down GTAs vs. the 3/4 CTW. The 3D graphics used in the game also help change things up in terms of a fully rotatable camera.
