      Hello
      I couldn't find a topic on this and I really need it answered so:
      I have an iPod touch 2gen and by bro has an ipod touch 1gen. We both use the same computer
      If I buy 3.0 does my bro have to buy it too?
      Please don't flame just aswer my question cause I'm in a huurry!

      Yes I think so because there's specific versions for 1st gen and 2nd gen.

      no, each t his own OS. ihave a 1gen touch and my son a 2nd gen touch. we have to buy th eupgrade separately, when you sync your device, so the downside is you have to pay twice!
