3.0: Anyone tried this already?

Sorry to bring this up.
I'm beta testing pocket god. Does that mean the 3.0 will work for me???

 

It should. From what I know 2.x.x apps are compatible with the 3.0 Beta 1

 

I'm assuming no one can tell me where to get the software because of the rules. Will it work for my touch?

 

Some people reported this but nobody posted screens or details. YouTube app got mega-updated. Including comments, and YouTube account integration. Again; it's too big for here. It's in the "Complete List" link in my sig.

 

yes you can. Setting>General>Home>Search results, and then you can choose b/w contacts, apps, music, podcasts, video, videobooks, notes, mail, calender

+1. yea, the beta isnt really terrible but its not the most stable thing out there. Overall a lot of people will love 3.0

 

ummm..... I go into settings / general and there is no /home. u sure?

 

yes after restriction its "Home"...u on iphone or itouch?

For Iphone Home is where you choose what happens when you double clikc the home button

lol, hopefully they include it for itouch's in furher beta releases, or the final one. Its not a essential, but a nice option to have

Well I don't work there. I write. And it's a long story.

The firmware file is all over the torrents. But no good without a developers account to activate with.

 

I have access to it, but why? There are plenty of stuff to program with the old one, but I guess I'll end up getting it


EDIT: "I have access" means that I have the developer program.
