      Does anyone know of any iPhone apps that were originally 2D games, and then were revised to use 3D graphics?

      Lots of Pong and Pong remakes did. Way harder to play Pong in 3d IMO

      Specifically ... I'm looking for a iPhone title from a publisher that the publisher later released (as a new product or upgrade) that took the iOS title to 3D from 2D.

      But you were right on the PONG games. PacMan also suffered a similar fate.

      Can you tell us anything about what it looked like or anything about the gameplay?

      Tower Runner comes to mind.

      Not a game that was 2d but went 3d but 1-bit Ninja can be played in both ways.

      Project 72 fits the description perfectly. 2D ->3D
