Controls are very difficult to get used to and I wish there were tilt controls. Some bugs here and there, I would get stuck on objects as well. The concept is good and the game looks great but still needs a little work. And I'm not sure how I feel about the pay model... sinagog Well-Known Member Aug 15, 2014 937 0 0 #8 sinagog, Jan 4, 2017 Give Super Rocket Ball a try for another alternative. Not tried this yet, but I play that with my brother online quite often. HotHamBoy Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2015 204 4 16 #9 HotHamBoy, Jan 4, 2017 Just FYI, clones are totally legal as long as they don't use the same name or steal assets. Doesn't matter how similar they are. Tbh, Rocket League should have gone for a mobile port themselves. If they aren't interested then they can't be surprised that someone is going to take the opportunity to fill that gap on mobile. They made an awesome, extremely popular game! Will have to try it out when I get home from work. I really don't think Psyonix will step in and get this pulled from the app store. Mainly because this won't hurt their sales on PC and Console and they probably have no interest to bring this to mobile. Right now their focus is on console and PC. If Psyonix were to dive into the mobile market and felt that copycats were hurting their potential mobile sales, then they would take action. Quaze Member Dec 15, 2016 8 0 1 #12 Quaze, Jan 4, 2017 Trust me Psyonix will do nothing about this, and I'd bet my paycheck that it stays right where it is on the App Store. TouchiMedia Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2013 132 1 18 #13 TouchiMedia, Jan 4, 2017 I love Rocket League on console. I think it has as much appeal as it does cause it's extremely polished. Physics are pinpoint and controls are perfect.. everything feels tight, right and responsive. Unfortunately that's hard if not impossible to duplicate on mobile. I was one of the people that wanted Rocket League on mobile, but more I think about it the harder I see it 'fitting'. I got Rocket League on console for free- I hope this subscription fee isn't necessary or intrusive cause that could easily sink the ship. Seems like be perfect game that's free with coin/monetize for customizations and that's it. Keeping it free will help the online community stay plentiful. will try when I get off work. Good luck all! If you pay the $15 the. You get unlimited boost, three cars and your vip for 3 months. The only thing right now you can compare it to is Rocket League so its a deal for mobile BUT if it was $5 less or so, or even if the boost was integrated, then it would be super worth it. Sensitivity isn't consistant. And the physics are funny as well. Although the artists did a great job, but the programmer failed in polishing the game on several points. Shame. Archimedes Well-Known Member Oct 7, 2010 98 0 0 #20 Archimedes, Jan 4, 2017 How are so many people saying this is anything but horrible? Am I taking crazy pills?? At first, I thought these positive comments had to be paid for but these are seasoned commenters. Is it just that you guys haven't played rocket league much? I want some kind of rocket league on my phone but this isn't it. It would take a lot of work to make a control scheme that worked even remotely well for touchscreen and this is sooooo far from that. Anyway, here is a more in depth review. It's the review I submitted to App Store moments ago: Menus look not terrible and frame rate is 60 in the menu. Car model also looks good here. Once you're in game, though, the whole experience takes a nose dive and crashes into a flame pile of "just aweful". This is trying to be a rip-off of rocket league and, to the credit, this is the closest to date but that's not saying much. There is no way a player could have even remotely decent control of the car. On screen control layout is terrible. You have to take your finger off left and right turning to power slide. Explain to me how this would work... Hey, it looks good. The physics of it aren't awful. Trouble is, there is a reason psyonics hasn't put rocket league on mobile. It would be a really heavy lift to make an onscreen control scheme that actually worked 1/3rd as well as a controller. I suppose, with a whole lot of practice and hours of work, you could truly master the controls in Turbo League but that would equate to being able to drive towards the ball semi-regularly.
