I loved all of these so far. I'm ready for another TWD series from Telltale. Goodbye weekend! hippiesrlame Active Member Aug 30, 2011 39 0 6 #3 hippiesrlame, Dec 22, 2016 Would love to hear impressions on performance. Held off on Batman due to the heavy criticism on technical issues. mzinn Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2014 770 0 16 #4 mzinn, Dec 22, 2016 I know what you mean. I stopped playing Batman in the hopes they'd fix the lag issues. I recently started playing it again more for the story and love of anything Batman than it being a smooth running game. Enjoying it so far. I bought this version of TWD & will play it through. I loved the previous TWD's so I'm all in. Like you though, I'm curious of the performance as I'm waiting for the weekend to dive in. Derprozess Well-Known Member Aug 18, 2012 279 0 16 Engineer #5 Derprozess, Dec 22, 2016 I've purchased the first episode and I have no desire to play the next ones; I've finished it in couple of hours, there's minimum interaction and the choices I've made haven't changed the story (almost) at all. It's nothing more than a visual novel in my opinion; those who will want to see Clementine again will love it anyway, but for me it isn't enough to wait for the rest of the story. Held off on Batman because it sounded nearly unplayable unless you have the newest device. BeefJerky Well-Known Member Jun 4, 2009 392 1 0 #7 BeefJerky, Dec 22, 2016 Anyone know how to start using a save from season 2? It used to read it automatically. It doesn't seem to any more but can apparently use a cloud save. So I uploaded my season 2 save and season 3 throws me into safari where I can select it and seemingly do nothing else with it. Just a red box with save selected on it. Going back to the app doesn't seem to progress. Any ideas? jamieladc Active Member May 9, 2012 26 0 1 #8 jamieladc, Dec 23, 2016 If you've uploaded your season 2 save and selected it on the Telltale website then go into the season 3 app and select extras. You should see an import option there. It's badly explained in the game BeefJerky Well-Known Member Jun 4, 2009 392 1 0 #9 BeefJerky, Dec 23, 2016 Ah! Thank you so much! Yeah, that really wasn't clear in the game so I really appreciate the help. I got the season 1 and 2 of walking dead in the sale for £3.99 and £2.99 for the whole series episodes. I like look of borderlands, but the graphics are low res with jagged edges.... is there a fix for this? I'm sure walking dead games was same, but they are fine now BeefJerky Well-Known Member Jun 4, 2009 392 1 0 #13 BeefJerky, Dec 25, 2016 I'm on an iPad Pro (I think...) and the performance was generally really good with graphics that seemed better than previous games. But even then, there have been a few instances of things slowing down for seemingly no reason. Happened about three times per chapter. bebo_beta2002 Well-Known Member Jan 6, 2010 641 0 16 #14 bebo_beta2002, Dec 25, 2016 well that's very good to hear , thanks for your reply am relieved now and gonna dig into this awesome game BTW did u use story generator or back up save game? or just start a new game? cause i wanna experience best outcome BeefJerky Well-Known Member Jun 4, 2009 392 1 0 #15 BeefJerky, Dec 25, 2016 I used the back up save game. But go back a page for more info on that - it really didn't seem clear to me on how to do it. If you still have season 2 on your device, you can go into that and upload a save and then follow the info on the previous page. I was going to use the story generator but many of the questions are really vague and I actually wasn't sure with many how they would really reflect the games I had played beyond a couple of the biggest choices. SystemX Member Oct 28, 2010 15 0 1 Software Implementation Analyst #16 SystemX, Dec 28, 2016 I played the first two episodes since the second one was temporarily free. The length of the episodes are about the same as season 2. Maybe shorter. I was able to complete both episodes in one sitting. The choices are not particularly difficult ones and seem to lead in one direction with only cosmetic differences. At the end each episode the summary shows how the majority of players chose on some of the key decisions. They are not even close, suggesting that many of the decisions are no-brainers or at least not thought provoking. I have not played any of the other Telltale series so I am not sure if this is news but they did away with the chapter selection from the previous seasons. It means you can't go back and change some choices from a midpoint. If you want to try a different decision you need to restart the whole episode. I am a fan of the series so I am on the fence for the other episodes, leaning towards not continuing. I was looking for something a bit more compelling and $20.99 can get lots of great things on the App Store these days.
