Hell, my friends and I used to idiotically joke about waiting for "GiTAh 2"...but Bully is by far my favorite game of theirs. It still manages to retain the massive scope of all the GTA games and Red Dead Redemption, while maintaining a very intimate relationship with the main character (Jimmy) that I don't believe I've felt with any of the other Rockstar protagonists. Absolutely love this thing and I can't wait for these bloody 5 hours to be over and done with so I can fire it up for the first time in a decade. Mooro Well-Known Member Jul 13, 2010 198 2 18 #7 Mooro, Dec 8, 2016 I really like the look of this. I have bought nearly all of the Rockstar games on iOS but have not finished any of them apart from Chinatown Wars. The problem is the controls. There is always one mission, usually involving driving, that is impossible due to the controls and I have to give up as I can not progress any further. I don't have an external controller. The story is more concise, albeit shorter, and the world is much smaller, yet everything is so centered around the protagonist. I myself am able to relate to a tale of school shenanigans much more than a gang/mafia one. Virtual crime life is starting to wear me out and bully is a great refreshment among these series. Bully is just amazing. You can do things around the city and interact with the world around you (in a funny way). Not to mention the minigames, pranks, and weapons. And, you can dress around as a skeleton ninja! GiHubb Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Apr 27, 2010 1,049 39 48 CEO #10 GiHubb, Dec 8, 2016 Do missions have checkpoints? I really hate when if you fail, you have to retrieve the mission and start over (which usually involved driving the previously done stretch) Son of Anarchy Well-Known Member Oct 5, 2015 717 130 43 Male Shadow Runner Australia #11 Son of Anarchy, Dec 8, 2016 Used to play this (like many others) on PS2. It was banned here in Australia. Rockstar were forbidden to release it unless they changed the name, which they did. The controversy was equally ridiculous and way over the top. The version I played (and still own) was called 'Canis Canem Edit', and it released very low key. I was just happy it released at all. You know how you're really looking forward to something then you're told you can't have it? Makes you want it more... Definitely among my favourite Rockstar games along with San Andreas, The Warriors and Vice City Stories. Cigarekt Well-Known Member Aug 17, 2016 47 0 6 #12 Cigarekt, Dec 8, 2016 Wow. Just finished the first chemistry class. I can't believe how fluid everything runs. I'm playing with my 6s on medium settings as high settings gave me occasional stutter (not that noticeable). No significant difference in graphic quality, though. I have no issues with the touch control. But, I still have to adjust myself with the aim system. It gets messy when you're fighting multiple people/objects. I'll report some more later. It's an absolutely awesome game and ranks right up there with San Andreas and vice city etc. Beating kids up in school, socking teachers, this game does it all. When it came out it was called a "columbine simulator" after hose kids shot up the school. This is silly of course, there's no guns in the game. But you whoop royal ass anyway. Seriously awesome game and a must play.
