As you play and expand your garden you will attract helpers, round blue creatures that will help you pick up things and harvest your plants. If you want you can pluck trees and harvest plants yourself, or let your helpers do the work for you while you watch or build and invest in new plants. The helpers will even continue to work while you are not playing the game, and some new gold should always be waiting for you on your return! It's good to keep your eyes open though, as sometimes mean critters may invade your garden. Hunt them out yourself or invest in a guard dog to keep the order. Go up in level to unlock new plants, bushes, trees and animals and continue to expand and improve your garden! FEATURES ● Plantera is a side-scrolling farm management simulator! Cultivate cute animals and crops for riches! ● Grow multiple varieties of trees, bushes, and other plants. Harvest them for gold so you can grow more and reach higher levels. ● Bring different types of animals to your garden and let them roam free. Hens and pigs are just some of the animals you can raise in the game. They also help in collecting more gold by giving you sellable items. ● Employ cute blue creatures called helpers to help you out in the collection of resources and raising gold from your garden, even when you’re not online. ● Unlock new varieties of flora and fauna as you reach higher levels in the game, and expand your garden. The more real estate you have, the more plants you can grow! ● Protect your garden from critters like birds, foxes, bunnies, and even wolves! Keep a guard dog or install a scarecrow to increase gold production even when not playing! It says about increasing production of gold even while away like generally it doesn't? Is it a game you play actively or is it a passive type where you set things then come back after a bit to collect and set more things? VaragtP Well-Known Member Jul 26, 2013 94 0 0 #11 VaragtP, Nov 18, 2016 Haha, that is the pig who digs up the "sock" (a boot really). He can dig up 3 different things that each have a different value, either a boot, a bit of cole, or a chunk of gold. They are worth more in that order. Not sure why it is a boot though.. I guess because that is a typical cartoon influence when someone is fishing and think they get something nice and it end up being an old boot instead? KeKhan Well-Known Member May 28, 2012 1,381 43 48 #12 KeKhan, Nov 18, 2016 This game is just so cute! The graphics and the audio , adorable. Really fun and addictive. I love the various "enemies". The big guy who chases off your piggies, the little pink rabbit with the big mouth, and that poor hungry bird. Hilarious. VaragtP Well-Known Member Jul 26, 2013 94 0 0 #13 VaragtP, Nov 18, 2016 It is designed to be played both active and passive taoyingying Well-Known Member Jul 15, 2016 85 0 6 #14 taoyingying, Nov 18, 2016 Downloaded and played for a day. This is basically a clicker game, and yes the blue "worker" continues working when you close the game, so when you reopen the game, you get a message about how much coins is gathered while you are way. I don't play much clicker games so can't comment on how it is comparing to other games. However, it's definitely cute. I especially like the cheerful music, and the wolf & fox are my favorite (you can't own them, but you "beat" them, their expression is so adorable ). Because of my slight OCD, I have 2 complains about the game: 1) When you expand, the land expand from both end. This cause a problem because I like the same type of crops/bushes/trees to be planted next to each other. I would much prefer to have the extra spaces all on the side where I click the "expand arrow". 2) It really bothers me that the trees don't line up with crop field and bushes. Again it's just my OCD, but it makes my perfectly organized plots off by a bit. Other than those 2, so far so good. There doesn't seem to be a lot to unlock, but I think/hope more content will be added in the future Wrath Well-Known Member May 26, 2011 480 9 18 Seattle #15 Wrath, Nov 18, 2016 I just delete and replant where I want certain items... taoyingying Well-Known Member Jul 15, 2016 85 0 6 #16 taoyingying, Nov 18, 2016 But then you waste money for the plant you bought then deleted (not much, but still). Also there is a lot of delete/replant need to be done if I want to shift all my crop/bush/tree groups one block left. What I did is just use the extra spot on one end, and ignore the other end until I unlock another crop/bush then I plant there. VaragtP Well-Known Member Jul 26, 2013 94 0 0 #17 VaragtP, Nov 18, 2016 Thank you! Not sure what "big guy" you are referring to who chases the pigs though haha VaragtP Well-Known Member Jul 26, 2013 94 0 0 #18 VaragtP, Nov 19, 2016 Thank you I have some of those problems myself when playing games like Skyrim where I need to collect and have everything in order! The reason the trees don't line up perfectly with the bushes is because of the parallax effect. Hoping to add more content also in future updates! Is there anything specific people would like to see? elektrisko Well-Known Member Nov 20, 2016 45 0 0 #19 elektrisko, Nov 20, 2016 Love this game !, but is it possible there could be cats added as an animal? VaragtP Well-Known Member Jul 26, 2013 94 0 0 #20 VaragtP, Nov 20, 2016 Yes, a cat was actually something that I would have liked to add to the game, just because how cute it would have looked! I am not sure exactly what "ability" the cat would have though. It does not lay eggs or milk etc so not sure exactly what it would actually do? Besides looking cute I love to hear feedback and ideas for what could be added for updates though, so if anyone have any good ideas please share! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
