More turrets/active skills to equip your ship in addition to shield, boosters and plasma flare. 2. Reduced the narrative by a fraction and added voice over for tutorial and prologue, etc 3. More missions and survival mode Bloodangel Well-Known Member Jan 19, 2011 1,824 46 48 Retail England #6 Bloodangel, Nov 16, 2016 Nah not Orion... it was released earlier this year, and was a follow up to their game before. Impressions? ZS77 Well-Known Member May 8, 2015 566 2 18 #10 ZS77, Nov 16, 2016 Tried it. Didn't like it. Lots of 'nice' hi-res graphics with cool laser/plasma effects but that's about it. Personally speaking (and I appreciate everyone's take is different) it's a cross between an idle clicker and a TD game, guns shoot automatically so apart from tapping where you want to move and hitting the 'upgrade' button as collected resources permit, there's not much else to it. Didn't strike me that there was any real strategy, deepth or sense of involvement. The narrative and script is OTT sci-fi cheese (think Starship Troopers meets Days of Our Lives!) with no sense of irony, so it just grates - and the voice overs........words don't do it justice. Am-Dram is an understatement. What a surprise that the beautiful blonde (and well endowed - not to mention genetically mutated) Commander is the God-daughter of the Fleet Admiral......or some kind of cliche along those lines. Yawn. Sorry if this appears harsh - I had higher hopes for this but it's left me with little in the way of positive praise. Others may be less critical but personally, really underwhelmed and unimpressed. Already deleted and if the IP lingers in my memory, it won't be for good reason! To anyone who's bought the game, is it an action shooter type of game, or a more TD type? I am neutral to it. I have some problems with the control and the narrative. But if you look for action, it is pretty fast paced and fun. I will hold my horses in view of other titles in my backlog TrinitiStars Well-Known Member Dec 8, 2015 160 0 0 http://www.facebook.com/trinitistars #15 TrinitiStars, Nov 17, 2016 Regarding the strategy aspect of Battleship Lonewolf, as you progress further, you need a different formation of weapons, physical, optical in addition to active skills, shield, etc in order to defeat enemies. Obviously, CBT was just a glimpse of the game to intrigue players and to get valuable feedback. Apparently we didn't impress you in that regard but we are open any critical feedback. Are there different ships? 2. Can you manually shoot your guns? 3. Can you move your ship, or is it a predestined pathway? 4. How many hours is the campaign? If anyone can answer these, that would be great. I might buy the game, just wondering about the actual gameplay. Anyone have any gameplay vids? One ship, can be upgraded and expanded with more guns, better defenses, etc. 2. Watch the video. 3. You can move your ship, rotate it so player gets the right guns to do the right jobs. 4. Let the developers answer this. TheIronBeagle Well-Known Member Jul 10, 2016 80 0 6 Hardcore gamer Gravity Falls #19 TheIronBeagle, Nov 17, 2016 Ok thanks.
