It was pretty fun and thr graphics were really nicely done. Only the content was a bit shallow but I guess that's what a sequel is for. neca Well-Known Member Apr 5, 2010 160 0 16 #3 neca, Nov 13, 2016 Nice sequel. Is it endless or the levels end at some point? And is there a way to restart from level 1? liukko Member Nov 11, 2016 9 0 0 #4 liukko, Nov 13, 2016 can't guess from the description XD what kind of game is this? bigrand1 Well-Known Member Apr 23, 2010 4,968 7 38 Geriatric Party Animal California, USA #5 bigrand1, Nov 13, 2016 We'd like to see a video showing the game play in action please! I don't mean to say that it's just "too hard", I feel that this particular kind of one-button gameplay is very confusing and disorienting at first. Drifting is a danger if you need to suddenly change direction out of a drift and you end up facing not where you wanted to. Not only that, but even on the very first few levels you're sometimes faced with navigating between extremely narrow spaces between a swathe of rocks and trees, which I think is a little much to be asking so early on. There have also been times when taking corners just leads me straight into a wall because my character doesn't turn as I expect they would? I get the switching camera keeps the game dynamic but when it switches as you play it can get weird. I feel that it's a deliberate design choice since you get to watch an ad after every death to keep going, that's an easy revenue stream for an overtly difficult game. See, I felt this was less of a problem with their previous game where unlocks were either "reach x stage" or "watch an ad". It didn't matter that the game was super hard as much, as long as you can get through each assortment of short but tough levels. But now the game has a more structured level progression, characters must be beaten in a race to be unlocked, you have to swerve to collect more power ups and point increasing tokens. There's an emphasis on playing the game well and not just surviving which I would normally applaud in a game, but when the basic gameplay is this chaotic to get to grips with it can be a bit much to swallow at first. I dunno, it's not a bad game. There's a lot of polish and lots to do, it's totally free though lots of ads to watch if you want extra lives (and this is one of those "die easily" games). It's just that it is a really hard game to get into, yet because of the level objectives and such the game expects you to be much better than the first game did. I guess I think that if you're asking players to master a one-button game that's this finnicky, I think it would've worked a bit better as a two button game where you hold to go in a direction and hold both to drift. It would mean you can't change the camera perspective but I really don't think that's an important part of the game. anjimo New Member Dec 17, 2016 2 0 0 #9 anjimo, Dec 17, 2016 Hellrider 2 (by Anji Games) Angry skeletons put Hellrider in the tower!
