There's a coin doubler, packs of coins and it says any purchase removes ads - but without an option to remove timers then I can't see myself putting a lot of time into it, particularly as I've had to retry the second two levels twice each. Thing is it could be a great high score chaser game but timers just rule that out. If there's any chance the Devs are watching, please give an iap to remove energy - I'd drop a fiver on this as I think it's rather excellent but spoiled by the aforementioned timers. The slo-mo is a brilliant idea. Looks great too, and the loot/rpg elements seem nice if not super-deep. Still, It is also too hard for me. Had fun with it for a few minutes though, and think some folks around here will love it. beelzebubble Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2012 220 0 0 #5 beelzebubble, Oct 27, 2016 I wouldn't have deleted the game if it had been premium. Would happily of paid 2 dollars for it (maybe even more). Thorster Member Sep 10, 2013 23 5 3 Germany #6 Thorster, Oct 27, 2016 Grrrr Well, the payment modell sucks big time. Even though it's not rhyming properly: Loaded it, played it, loved it, dele-ted. Any shot this would get an IAP to remove all timers and such? Mrwubbs Well-Known Member Feb 19, 2012 498 0 16 #8 Mrwubbs, Oct 27, 2016 Call me when there's a premium version. Gameplay is great, but game is destroyed by ftp garbage. houseofg Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Oct 1, 2013 1,611 82 48 #9 houseofg, Oct 27, 2016 Last edited: Oct 27, 2016 What's with the annoying screen recording prompt every. single. level? stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #10 stubbieoz, Oct 27, 2016 Last edited: Oct 29, 2016 Yep, very annoying. Edit: Thanks to oragnecan for pointing out that you can turn the recording prompt off. One other thing that needs correcting. There is no timer as such. The energy icon is actually referring to the number of lives you have left. It starts at 5. You can keep playing indefinitely so long as you don't use up all your lives. When your lives do run out you will have to wait some time (not sure how long but maybe 15 minutes or so?). Also after playing for some time I can say that the game is actually very good. The iap's are not intrusive. It looks great on the big iPad Pro, though I wish the screen would rotate so I could charge the battery while playing it in my iPad case/stand. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #11 orangecan, Oct 28, 2016 You can stop that - there's a tick box that you ca uncheck on the level start screen, do that and it stops. It's still deleted unfortunately - I know FTP is a necessary evil but when it spoils a game that could otherwise be very good then it winds me up. houseofg Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Oct 1, 2013 1,611 82 48 #12 houseofg, Oct 30, 2016 Thanks for pointing that out. ZS77 Well-Known Member May 8, 2015 566 2 18 #13 ZS77, Oct 31, 2016 Agreed, would buy ad removal, infinite energy and coin doubler if available. Fun little dungeon crawler with a neat game mechanic twist. houseofg Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Oct 1, 2013 1,611 82 48 #14 houseofg, Nov 1, 2016 Same. As it stands, the timer is becoming a serious nuisance as things seriously ramp up around level 30. Gideon Upopa New Member Nov 3, 2016 2 0 0 Game Designer at Upopa Games #15 Gideon Upopa, Nov 3, 2016 They are! Hi everybody, my name is Gideon and I'm the Game Designer behind Barbaric: The Golden Hero, and I just stumbled across this thread First I'd like to thank you all for the feedback! Please keep it coming, and feel free to PM me. General answers: - We are aware that the screen recording prompt is annoying. It should be fixed in the next iOS version, although we don't have a release date for the update yet. - There is an "Unlimited lives" purchase available in one of our other games, Hopeless 2, and we're considering adding that option to Barbaric as well. We'll definitely take into consideration that so many of you guys requested the feature. I'll post an update if and when we add such a feature. Specific feedback: You can actually buy the coin doubler, and ANY real money purchase, including the coin doubler, will remove ads (you'll still have the option to watch videos for more coins). The game should rotate 180 degrees if you rotate your device, but for technical reasons it will always be in portrait mode. jpgold Well-Known Member Sep 21, 2012 1,818 56 48 Online Ad Sales - Pandora New York, NY #16 jpgold, Nov 3, 2016 Thanks for the info. Does the purchase of the coin doubler also get rid of the timers/energy? Gideon Upopa New Member Nov 3, 2016 2 0 0 Game Designer at Upopa Games #17 Gideon Upopa, Nov 3, 2016 No. There is currently no way to permanently remove the energy mechanic. You only lose energy when you die, so you can just git gud and never get killed, you know jpgold Well-Known Member Sep 21, 2012 1,818 56 48 Online Ad Sales - Pandora New York, NY #18 jpgold, Nov 3, 2016 Thanks for the info and thanks for being active here.
