There are no IAPs in the game. cowtruck123 Well-Known Member Oct 13, 2012 270 0 0 #4 cowtruck123, Oct 12, 2016 The ads are pretty annoying. I'll probably play the game in airplane mode (or Just delete it) until there's a way to remove the ads. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #5 vectorarchitekt, Oct 12, 2016 I am genuinely surprised that there is no remove ad option. They are quite intrusive. theboxhead Member Sep 5, 2012 23 0 1 #6 theboxhead, Oct 13, 2016 Agreed on the ads. To the developer: please add a remove ads in-app purchase. Otherwise, super fun. JohnnyClash Well-Known Member Mar 11, 2016 611 1 0 #7 JohnnyClash, Oct 13, 2016 I will not be playing this game with that tacky ass banner ad at the bottom of the gameplay screen.. What where they thinking? Let me know if they put in an iap for ad removal. JahPE Well-Known Member Apr 8, 2016 74 0 6 #8 JahPE, Oct 13, 2016 There no ad banner just ads the pop up out of nowhere WakenBake Well-Known Member Jan 6, 2016 85 5 8 #9 WakenBake, Oct 13, 2016 I was having fun. The ads aren't too bad but still annoying. What's more annoying is going into multiplayer with a guy that can hit every hole with no problem and my only chance is if he lets me win. lanights Well-Known Member Jul 4, 2009 52 0 0 #10 lanights, Oct 13, 2016 Like others say, IAP to remove ads please devs, for your benefit as well as ours, otherwise I can't see playing this very long. cowtruck123 Well-Known Member Oct 13, 2012 270 0 0 #11 cowtruck123, Oct 13, 2016 I have a constant banner as well as pop ups. They should have just had opt in ads for currency and an IAP to disable forced ads. Oh well I'm gonna delete it until an option arrives. We hear you on the remove ads front and will discuss internally about it. To give you all a insight on the decision to exclude it, in the original Flappy Golf, the remove ads iap accounted for less than half of a percent of all income for the game. Basically 99.95% of people do not remove the ads. So it was decided not to even include it this time. In the meantime we will check about reducing the frequency to a level that feels less intrusive for you. bigrand1 Well-Known Member Apr 23, 2010 4,968 7 38 Geriatric Party Animal California, USA #13 bigrand1, Oct 13, 2016 Reduce it? Just give us an IAP to remove them. If and until you do this, I, for one, will not play your game at all....... ## sugimulm Well-Known Member Aug 28, 2010 2,457 46 48 The last time zone for iOS game releases :( #14 sugimulm, Oct 13, 2016 Hey Ryan, What about including IAP to remove ads for the ones that want it? That way you can accommodate both parties. lanights Well-Known Member Jul 4, 2009 52 0 0 #15 lanights, Oct 13, 2016 Agree with 'Sugimulm' on this. Ryan_Noodle Well-Known Member Patreon Gold Jan 29, 2013 403 5 18 Biz guy at Noodlecake Studios Saskatoon #16 Ryan_Noodle, Oct 13, 2016 Yes the plan is to make call on the iap ASAP tomorrow. Ill let you know on here what we do. Since it cant be done immediately, in the interim we are adjusting ad frequencies because we can do that without an update. lemessie Well-Known Member Jan 7, 2015 83 0 0 #17 lemessie, Oct 13, 2016 All like the others ! Please iap to remove ads! xx99 Well-Known Member Jan 19, 2013 127 0 0 IT Help Desk Michigan #18 xx99, Oct 13, 2016 I'd gladly pay $10 to support this game (and remove ads). I completed 100% of the original, had a blast with the multiplayer, and seriously consider it one of my favorite iOS games of all time. The controls were so good. Looking forward to trying this one! metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #19 metalcasket, Oct 13, 2016 Considering the first Flappy Golf was supposedly mostly popular due to school kids downloading the game and spreading the word, I can see the reasoning behind not including a way to disable ads. I highly doubt kids could even care less if there were or weren't ads in Flappy Golf 2 (provided it gains traction like the first did). Maybe this game just isn't aimed at us (the hardcore gaming crowd)? Look, would I like a way to disable ads? Of course. Is the game gonna stay on my device WITHOUT a way to disable them? Most probably not... Is it worth Noodlecake getting a "Contains in-app purchases" label permanently on the game just to satisfy 0.05% of the people who want a way to disable ads? I dunno. Either way, if it does get implemented, do consider making it $5. I know I wouldn't mind paying double that, but it'll be interesting to see if the people holding up "BURN NOODLECAKE AT THE STAKE" signs do put their money where their mouths are. lemessie Well-Known Member Jan 7, 2015 83 0 0 #20 lemessie, Oct 13, 2016 5 bucks is the maximum for me too even if this game is very nice...
