However, it's a bit simple so if you are used to adventure games, the challenges will not be too hard. I am a big fan of Christie so for me its a must buy! curtisrshideler Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jul 30, 2011 3,097 25 48 Male Video Producer/Editor Texas http://twitter.com/curtneedsaride #6 curtisrshideler, Sep 29, 2016 Last edited by a moderator: Oct 1, 2016 Good question. If they've got them in there, they should explain why in the description. Otherwise, I will wait to buy until we find out. Another sale they could have had if there weren't IAP. Thomadaneau Well-Known Member Mar 26, 2013 102 2 18 Digital marketing consultant #7 Thomadaneau, Sep 29, 2016 If I read this book in the past and know exactly the murderer and how he did it, should I still buy it? I love Agatha Christie books. jmc1982 New Member Aug 3, 2012 1 0 0 #8 jmc1982, Sep 29, 2016 I would genuinely really like to get this, but I don't want to pay more for it than the PS4 version, which I can get for £8. Just waiting to see what the IAP are. I'm assuming it can't be chapter unlocks as they've put "FULL" in the title and no disclaimers in the description, but then I don't know what they could be otherwise. Harrumph. The great thing is you're given an option to buy unlimited hints for the ABSURD (just kidding) price of $2.99. Considering this is a $20 release on PC, you're still buying the entire package on iOS for less than half the price. Super respectable release. I gotta say, I took a look at some of the reviews for the PC version and the double standards we have today are dumbfounding. People are complaining about hand-holding and narrative driven experiences in a world that has done nothing but call Telltale adventures the future of the Point and Click genre? Why is it alright for Telltale to all but remove any gameplay elements from their games (Don't get me wrong. I LOVE the Telltale games) and be praised, but with The ABC Murders (a game that has faaaaaaaaaaaaar more gameplay than any of the Telltale games), this is an issue? The way I see it, you're getting a combination of old school Point and Click, Telltale adventure and The Room with The ABC Murders. If that in any way tickles your senses, check this out. It's also fully voiced, clocks in at 1.1 GB, is around the 5 hour long mark and has cloud saving. What's not to love? NOTE: You can still seemingly purchase the 2 lower-priced IAP tiers despite having bought the unlimited hints IAP. Just something to watch out for. djstout Well-Known Member Jul 21, 2011 2,685 105 63 Sportscaster & football (soccer) coach Taiwan & Japan #11 djstout, Oct 5, 2016 I was wondering the same, my wife love all her books and she already knows who the killer is, should I still get it or is it pointless? kfelicity85 Member May 2, 2013 23 0 1 #12 kfelicity85, Oct 6, 2016 This game is awesome!!! Yes it's a bit on the easier side but it's not too easy to make it boring. I only play point and click adventures and I found it to be a really great play. I was just disappointed when I got to the end, as I do with most good games. Can't really say whether you should buy it if you've read the book. I think it's still worth it because it's more than just finding outbreak the killer is. The thing I like about this game is that it has some different features to the usual point and click adventures. Hope to see more Agatha Christies on iOS soon! pka4916 Well-Known Member Jun 6, 2009 2,584 0 36 Male Wisconsin #13 pka4916, Oct 23, 2016 This game is bugged 1. On Ipad Air where you have to find clues on the Inspector the circle only goes left and right. On the Iphone 7, the circle moves just fine. BIGGER problem. 2. The Cloud saves are not compatible with Ipad and Iphone ?? Pretty useless then if you ask me. I got 2 different save types in the cloud now. even though they both have the same account. Mince0 Well-Known Member Nov 18, 2015 164 0 16 #14 Mince0, Oct 31, 2016 Good game and I do recommend it but I'm supprised by how bad the movement controls are coderkid Well-Known Member Nov 5, 2010 540 2 18 #15 coderkid, Nov 26, 2016 Because Telltale games aren't about gameplay or difficulty, they're about the story and decision making. That's what people buy Telltale games for, not the that old school point n' click feel. If you're buying a Telltale game nowadays, you know what you are getting. With this game, not so much, which is why I can see why people could come with different expectations. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
