Switching Game Center service off might help. When you are in the app and tutorial, you can switch it on again. We are working on a fix for that. retr0spective Well-Known Member May 24, 2011 915 17 18 Riverside, CA #8 retr0spective, Sep 21, 2016 I thought this was a game for hackers! ☺️ EvilDucktator ð® Spam Police ð Sep 28, 2011 490 0 0 Walt Disney World Cast Member Brisbane, Australia #9 EvilDucktator, Sep 21, 2016 ^Real hackers would be playing this on a Linux smartphone RinoaHeartily Well-Known Member Dec 12, 2010 1,715 10 38 #10 RinoaHeartily, Sep 21, 2016 What the heck is this??? Progress comes at a snail's pace if you eschew IAPs. Little touches like being about to leave a note in your opponent's readme file after a successful hack are really clever and fun, but I was forced to delete it when it took me only an hour or two to hit the pay(fire)wall. Artifex 28 Active Member Apr 13, 2012 28 0 0 #12 Artifex 28, Sep 22, 2016 Absolutely stunning game. The 3D networking and linking really turns this a skill based game. Yes, there's premium currency, but who cares. It doesn't matter since if you climb the ratings, you'll eventually hit the 50/50 win/loss rate anyways. Hackers does something completely unique in two aspects. The skill based hacking and building of your network and the fact that you get to trashtalk on your opponents on their core's wall. I'm F2P and ranked #1 in Finland. Congratz on your 1st Rank! Luminaar New Member Sep 27, 2016 1 0 0 #14 Luminaar, Sep 27, 2016 Astounding game! I haven't been hooked on a hacking game like this since Uplink all those years ago! As mentioned, the graphics are slick and Assassin's Creed-esque, the gameplay is tense and in short bite-sized bursts, and the music and atmosphere intoxicating. Regarding the F2P aspects, as always, a little knowledge goes a long way. It doesn't take long (a few days) to build up a sustainable base/network. The battle system rewards good/efficient play in that if you don't waste attacks, you take less time to prepare your next hack. Add in the building that allows you to store more attacks than you need early on in the game and it doesn't take long for attacks to be close to ready while you're out on the offensive. Most of the timed waiting is actually on upgrading buildings, not playing the game. Anyone interested in this style of game who is looking at this and eschewing this based on conventional F2P is doing themselves a massive disservice. bkray1 Member Jan 17, 2011 10 0 0 #15 bkray1, Oct 9, 2016 Help I am trying to figure out how to break a connection.
