It's a suuuuuuuuuper fun card game. There are lots of cool variants you can play with the cards as well, not sure what's offered in the game. Personally I think the best version is trying to play for the lowest score. It's much more challenging and dynamic than trying for highest score. currymutton Well-Known Member Oct 16, 2008 4,430 1 0 #6 currymutton, Sep 8, 2016 Unfortunately, it seems that there is only one mode: the highest score wins. uhdrill Active Member Jan 6, 2013 32 0 0 #7 uhdrill, Sep 8, 2016 As a beta tester for Sushi Go! I must say that this is an excellent implementation of a fantastic card game. The developer took everyone's feedback into consideration and made numerous iterations to get everything just right prior to the launch. An excellent title with a seamless interface. You take one (face down) and pass the hand to the left. Then everyone flips up their card. Wash, rinse & repeat until all cards are face up. This is to simulate grabbing sushi off the belt as it goes by. The cards all vary in how they're scored. Some go up in value exponentially, some all-or-nothing in sets, some score points for having the most (and lose points for having the least) one card (Wasabi) increases the value of another type and the chopsticks cards don't score anything, but let you grab two cards at once on a future turn... Score at the end of the round is added up and you play 3 rounds (or whatever you feel like) for a final score. Mostly the game is about balancing what you take vs what other people are. The only real luck is in which cards are in the initial hands (and you won't have seen what they are until as many turns have passed as players.) My wife, daughter and I play this one all the time IRL, it's a game with a decent amount of strategy that a 7 year old can still play. EDIT: I actually did a double-take when I first saw this, it certainly didn't look official, and I am very surprised at the amount of empty space on the screen, even on the iPhone version. RichardC Active Member Mar 12, 2011 29 5 3 #12 RichardC, Sep 8, 2016 Anyone know if it has pass and play? And does it have all the expansion items? I realize that's not ideal given the physical game is simultaneous play, but the kids and I only have 1 iPad. This is an awesome card game for anyone on the fence. Easy to learn and playable by kids and adults. Thanks!
