See how far you get, upgrade your car, you'll get further, upgrade your car etc. Personally I really like that kind of gameplay loop. Not a big fan of the weird graphics filter. Also the drunken camera needs fixing, sometimes your car isn't even on the screen anymore. Love the theme and the graphics and it's a lot of fun to play. The doubler IAP is a bit steep for a racing/drifting game... I thought about getting it, but am not sold out that it's worth the bang for the bucks. Now, if the $5 IAP was for access to significant additional content such as expansions, then, I'd give it a nod. For a racing game, though...ehhhh....it's hard sell for me... Cool cars, which you can customize the stats and the look. Drive as far as you can, crash, upgrade, repeat. Super fun so far! new_ipodtouch5G_owner Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2015 386 46 28 Canada #5 new_ipodtouch5G_owner, Sep 8, 2016 I really prefer this game over Mega Drift, which I still do play once in a while. Definitely liking the vintage looking cars, great art style and really fun gameplay. Seems you can go off the edge. Discovered that keeping my finger on the gas, and using brake at just the right time when entering a corner really helps. eugekava Well-Known Member Jul 8, 2009 2,707 0 36 Melbourne, Australia #6 eugekava, Sep 8, 2016 This must look better on iphone because on ipad mini 2 it looks really bad. I crash more because the camera is moving from side to side, all over the place. More frustrating than fun for my tasted. While not even close to revolutionary or award-winning, it certainly is a refreshing take on a driving game. The visual style's nice, too. Really hard to win a particular cup when you can't see your car, or the track at all, because the camera view is totally obscured by trees or other obstacles along the edges of the track. Wouldn't mind paying for an iap, but not if I'm gonna be frustrated too much the further I manage to progress because of goofy camera angles... It just became uncontrollable after the full upgrade. I wish I could reverse the upgrade, totally stuck now. Or maybe my driving just sucks! new_ipodtouch5G_owner Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2015 386 46 28 Canada #14 new_ipodtouch5G_owner, Feb 25, 2017 I wonder why EA/Chillingo pulled this game from the iTunes Store? I thought this was a fun racing game with some nice visuals, and I enjoyed playing it. Guess I'm glad that I always backup all my apps/games that I have purchased/downloaded.
