But for some reason the game just felt like I was watching other people play, and just had a short amount of interaction. Perhaps I am just missing something or fiddled with some settings, so I will give it another go. I did like the improved graphics and all the new features added, also liked the new landscape mode. Full Fat's 2014 NFL Quartback 15 (now MIA from the iTunes/Google/Amazon) is still on my iPod touch, and is played often. I agree with the statement that it "felt like I was watching other people play, and just had a short amount of interaction." Each game feels like a "simulation." You see the top down view of the field with each play run as a bar on the field. Depending on what kind of "risk" you have selected, you'll get a short, medium, or long pass play... assuming the simulation chooses to run the play you know. And to start of with, you only "know" the low risk plays. So you are the QB, the play automatically hikes and runs and everything. All you do it swipe your finger toward the player when the arrow above him turns green. That's it. Everything else it out of your hands. Oh and your player has "stamina" so if you stick with the high risk plays, he'll get tired and need to be benched. Outside of that... everything else is nothing. There is training, which consists of you tapping the screen different ways. Or just auto training. Then you spend those few training points to purchase new plays (which allow you to take control of the QB more often) or upgrade existing plays... which does something. You can also spend the little money you make from each game to buy new equipment, cars, houses, staff members, and eventually date a lady. Or you can do what I did and blow most of it ("most of it" being $50, which took me a few games to accumulate after buying more stamina and equipment.) The things you buy give you boosts, and such. I thought I'd be clever and abuse the 50% stamina you get from watching an ad and repeatedly do training to buy all the plays and increase some of the levels. I went back to play and now the teams I were facing were at 5 stars while my team was at 1/2 star. What that means is there is no chance to win anymore. Because your team sucks. There was too little "gameplay" for me to enjoy this. And the "gameplay" that was there was just a swipe every now and again. Everything else was out of your control and extremely frustrating.
