I've had it since it was early access released on Steam as D.A.T. (Drive Any Track). Highly recommended! What's does it mean to be in sync? Also does beat or rhythm have to do with anything in the game other than track generation? What are those moving scanning lines? What are the benefits of boosting? Duke12 Well-Known Member Oct 25, 2013 1,018 41 48 #10 Duke12, Sep 2, 2016 Not sure but I believe you need to stay between those scan lines to be in sync. (or ahead) la5tn1nja Member Jan 26, 2015 14 0 0 London, UK #11 la5tn1nja, Sep 2, 2016 Think of the first sync line as the "playhead" of the song. Keeping up with the playhead is the aim of the game. The more "in sync" you are the more we multiply your score. If you boost past the playhead you enter "super sync" and we multiply your points x10. The objects on the track are all laid out to the beat, and big moments happen on track during big moments in the song. There are no rhythm gameplay elements as such, as Riff Racer is a more of a racing game. Hope this helps. la5tn1nja Member Jan 26, 2015 14 0 0 London, UK #12 la5tn1nja, Sep 2, 2016 To buy cars and skins you need Coins. You earn Coins in game by: Picking them up on track Gaining a new XP level Various other achievements such as beating a player's ghost. There are two IAPs which are Coin packs - essentially a way of shortcutting the earning process. There are a couple of vehicles and skins which are direct IAPs. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #13 metalcasket, Sep 2, 2016 What in the world?
