I will just come out with it this was a pleasure to find this little gem of a title tucked away in today's new releases. You are a thief that nicks off with a "vehicle" (i say that in quotes as you can end up unlocking a bath) from the show room. Its then a case of how long you can keep ahead of the cops as they hunt you down with a ever increasing Wanted star you soon end up having GTA style army after you due to many first aid packs that always seem to at hand resulting in some long cop chases But with all that going on at the same time you can earn money by doing deliveries and out running gangsters. With every $100 you can take delivery of vehicle yet if you happen to own it already its converted into tokens which can then towards unlocking other vehicles ranging from S, A, B, and C class with S offer special skills of course if you cant wait you can make a IAP its style you seen in games like cross road. One more thing is gangster bosses of which there are four i saw so far. By completing the requirement of the boss you are able to "level" up the boss and upon reaching the next level they award you with cash, tokens and even vehicles. You cant pick which boss you want this is a random roll, and once you finished there is a cool down timer which you can skip with gold you earned so far. As i said before i found this a lot of fun and i'm sure you will too. bigrand1 Well-Known Member Apr 23, 2010 4,968 7 38 Geriatric Party Animal California, USA #3 bigrand1, Aug 12, 2016 Gotta admit, the reason I checked this out was the word Burnout. While this game looks pretty fun, (and I'm going to download it) I don't think they should use that word. Maybe it's just me, but seeing the word 'Burnout' makes me think of one thing only (one game only) and I'm sure the devs know that, thus getting more bang-for-their-buck and mileage out of it, but I also think this game has enough to stand out on its own. It does look like fun! hellscaretaker Well-Known Member May 27, 2012 1,098 6 38 Im a youtube gamer/streamer https://www.youtube.com/user/touchgameplay #4 hellscaretaker, Aug 12, 2016 I agree with you when i saw burnout i thought of EA burnout game. I don't believe burnout is a registered as copyright after all the term "burnout" is used in real word for drag racing i think? Gave it a go and it's a good game but the iaps and their prices cheapen the game as they go up to £79 in the game. Either it's a mistake or the dev is hoping that people mistakenly buy these to make a lot of cash in one go. Reduce the iaps and it would give the game more credibility and wouldn't make it feel like you were waiting to accidently make a wrong IAP choice. This is only made worse by the fact it requires access to the microphone and camera. Sits to far on the side of dodgy for me to want to recommend it. daerisoft Member Jan 1, 2016 22 0 0 game developer korea #9 daerisoft, Aug 16, 2016 Last edited: Aug 16, 2016 Burnout City (by DaeriSoft) Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel daerisoft Member Jan 1, 2016 22 0 0 game developer korea #10 daerisoft, Aug 17, 2016 ^-^ thank you!!! daerisoft Member Jan 1, 2016 22 0 0 game developer korea #11 daerisoft, Aug 17, 2016 wow down load gogogog!! daerisoft Member Jan 1, 2016 22 0 0 game developer korea #12 daerisoft, Aug 18, 2016 ^-^ forsakenxe Well-Known Member Oct 23, 2014 709 0 16 #13 forsakenxe, Aug 21, 2016 Graphics The graphics look nice but it is nothing special menus and UI look average, too. Nothing fancy, nothing horrible. I like the overall look of the game but the game world itself feels empty, less alive than it could be and the same graphics and animations get tiresome pretty quickly. No rag dolls no glorious explosions nothing that make some go "Wow! F* yes!". 2.5/5 Sound The sounds are overall alright. I think the helicopter machine gun get's a bit annoying quickly and the same siren sounds all the time add to that. I didn't find the music particularly interesting and overall what was missing was variety! All collisions, sirens and just everything feels like there is one or two sound files and that's it. The make up for that with some vehicles you can get but it's by no means a good sound design. Not terrible but get's annoying pretty quickly in my books. 2/5 Gameplay At first the gameplay seems super cool, GTA style getaway car chases through a city with the wanted level increasing and (for me) two jobs you can do either drive from point A to B (as a side mission while being chased) to collect 5 coins or don't die by 2 cars chasing you (which do basically nothing scary - as another side mission) for I believe 45 seconds or a minute. All the other time you basically just drive around trying to stay alive. While I know this concept from other games it's just boring here. After the first 30-60 minutes you have seen it all. The enemies, the 2 missions, the 2 sounds per vehicle It's just not filled with nearly enough variety to keep you interested. Sure those cars look nice but ultimately they didn't change up the gameplay for me which is what just gets boring to no end. 1.5/5 Controls I have to make another point here, because the controls are also flawed. While the drive to the left and to the right works fine I have no idea why there is no separate break button implemented. To break (in order to take sharp turns) you need to hold both buttons, subsequently only being able to break in a straight line and not for very long. It feels totally not satisfying to control the cars and even though these controls are not totally flawed and actually responsive, they add more strain to an already not very pleasant experience. 2.5/5 Payment Model I can't speak that much about it but it's your usual gather coins for more vehicle f2p model with ads (which you are able to get rid of via IAP) and nothing too bad. Although there are packages in thee 60+ range I believe so there is that. So overall your average payment model with a kind of super hefty priced pack and some more, more inexpensive packs (starter pack etc.). 2.3/5 Conclusion Download it, play for as long as you find it fun and then see how you like it. I do think there was a mad max game that was similar in what it was trying to do but because you could shoot there was more action and just enjoyment to be had. If you like driving around an empty city with some cars while being chased by the police and to do that for hours on end, you'r in for a treat, if not play it for as long as it's fun. 2/5 (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
