It strips out the planting elements of Agricola and focuses on the animal husbandry. The tutorials are enough to get going, but strategy will be elusive at first. This is a much quicker game than Agricola - I've never played it before - but really enjoyed the games I played last night. Not been too tempted by Inland port or this (and the UI does look a bit busy... wondering if Lord Gek is going to comment on me saying that )? Actually after seeing how differently this feels from Agricola, I'm going to pick up Inland Port as well. currymutton Well-Known Member Oct 16, 2008 4,430 1 0 #9 currymutton, Aug 11, 2016 Just finish the tutorial and run a couple of games against easy AI, no game-murdering bug so far and I like what I am seeing. There is a DLC/expansion with more animals and building available for another US$3.99. Dailon80 Well-Known Member Nov 10, 2014 3,574 66 48 Program Director/Radio DJ Eos #10 Dailon80, Aug 11, 2016 Thanks guys no wonder I didn't realize glass road was out. I don't play games on an iPad at all. I do have a 6s plus which to me is damn near an iPad. FTL would be nice too but since I don't have an iPad can't play it either. After really looking over this game it seems like it wouldn't hurt for me to grab this even though I have Agricola standard version. Seems like this is a quicker play version of it. Mack the Knife Well-Known Member Jun 21, 2012 562 0 0 #11 Mack the Knife, Aug 15, 2016 correction, $2.99 hmm, not many folks playing this i see. i can't determine if everyone already has the actual board game and has played it to death thus making the app less appealing, or the app stinks. i've seen the one video and the FEW comments i've read say the UI is a little awkward so it's hard to tell if it's just that no one wants this or it's that no one likes this. hey, i grew up poor so 5 bucks means sumthin' Misguided Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2009 2,346 19 38 #12 Misguided, Oct 12, 2016 On sale for 1.99 (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
