The links just bounce you to an appstore/itunes download or the official web site, and there is no location within the game to put a referral code. In short, there appears to be no way for the game to be able to tell which download/account has been referred to by which originating player. midasmulligan Well-Known Member Oct 1, 2015 156 2 18 #14 midasmulligan, Jul 29, 2016 give it a little time The lure here is that the games are short and snappy without losing the strategic and tactical depth you'd expect. Additionally, the leveling up and weapon enhancements add another layer of preparation for those that like to tinker with their cards outside of battle. I just can't sit through most magic duels and hearthstone game given how slow they can be. This lets you get in and out with a generous (at least at this point) F2P model. RLennon Well-Known Member Nov 28, 2013 100 0 0 #15 RLennon, Jul 29, 2016 If I'm looking for a more immersive CCG, will this do the trick? I am stuck in the void of Magic Duels being near unplayable and Hex not yet on mobile. Would this game help bridge the gap? Rob midasmulligan Well-Known Member Oct 1, 2015 156 2 18 #16 midasmulligan, Jul 29, 2016 I was in the same boat as you, and this is definitely filling the void. YMMV, however Ayjona Well-Known Member Sep 8, 2009 3,295 21 38 Freelance journalist and writer, amateur musician Stockholm, Sweden #17 Ayjona, Jul 29, 2016 The peripheral mechanics are extremely well fleshed-out. There is an astounding amount of depth of progression. But the actual CCG mechanics are nearly as simplistic as a digital CCG comes. Both Earthcore and SolForge (The Only Two Lane Battlers That Matter ) offer considerable more variety, breadth and depth of duel strategy. Afraid not. For immersion, wait for Duelyst and Elder Scrolls Legends (both headed for mobile). The former offers an extremely vividly realized, gorgeously presented, bizarre low-concept fantasy-sci-fi-steam-anime-punk universe. The latter draws from the extreme wealth of lore of the Elder Scrolls series, with its strange mix of extremely generic high-fantasy and predictable narrative elements, and the quite unique and refreshing. Both have a, for a CCG, heavy focus on lore, underpinned in both gameplay elements, narrative campaigns or lore modes, and additional lore outside of the game itself. Tinsel Well-Known Member Dec 8, 2008 508 5 18 #18 Tinsel, Jul 29, 2016 I'm really enjoying it so far. I personally like it more than TESL and HS so far (Duelyst is still my fave). But the refer-a-friend thing is a scam (the links do nothing but direct you to the app store or web page). I'm going to hold off on spending any money until I see what they do about that. Minor nit: I wish they'd add an ability to exchange currencies though. I'm just not a PvPer. I wish I could trade for sun stones. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
