It is then copied to your clipboard, and you can send it to anyone. The person who receives the code can enter it in the field in the settings. y2kmp3 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2010 1,784 3 38 #6 y2kmp3, Jun 21, 2016 Last edited: Jun 21, 2016 Thank you, Roger-NL, for recommending this game to me. kamibox, is the game tracking move counts? I don't see any counter in the game. The mechanics in this game are ideal for implementing a target move limit to solve each level. For this game, the issue is of particular important. This is because, though it is possible to get stuck in a dead-end state, more often than not it is possible to "stumble" upon the solution just by swiping in different directions without paying much attention to any strategy. I don't want find out at the end of the game that I need to backtrack on all of the levels to redo them to match some target / par values that were initially kept hidden. Is this what you are implying? kamibox Well-Known Member Jul 19, 2013 73 1 8 #14 kamibox, Jun 22, 2016 Not quite. If you want to know what happens, read the spoiler: Spoiler When you finish the game, you will unlock a perfection mode, where you can track your movements. The reference value is the solution with the least possible movements, and when you already beat that number in the normal mode, you will not have to play that again (probably about half of the levels are solved perfectly in the first round). This is a bonus however, and not the main goal. AppUnwrapper Well-Known Member Oct 26, 2011 4,062 3 0 http://www.appunwrapper.com/escape-games/ #15 AppUnwrapper, Jun 22, 2016 Spoiler Will you then be able to access each level separately? I'm not a fan of the inability to go back and play a single level again. They get lumped into groups and I have to play through the whole group to access a single level. Or am I missing some way to skip within a group? y2kmp3 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2010 1,784 3 38 #16 y2kmp3, Jun 22, 2016 Last edited: Jun 22, 2016 Very nice! I am very impressed with the quality of the puzzles. Some of them are just so clever!!! Here is my "hidden" question: Spoiler How are these target goal move values derived? Have they been algorithmically checked or were they derived manually so that they might not necessarily be the truly minimum move values? kamibox Well-Known Member Jul 19, 2013 73 1 8 #17 kamibox, Jun 22, 2016 Spoiler Only the levels that haven't been solved perfectly will be shown then. When everything is completed, they will be shown in groups of 4 again. I assumed that not many people would want to replay a specific level. If there are more people with your opinion, I will add a better level picker in the next update. Spoiler There is a small chance that it isn't always the best solution, I let my simulator try everything in hyperspeed all night long and find out the best solution. y2kmp3 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2010 1,784 3 38 #18 y2kmp3, Jun 22, 2016 Last edited: Jun 22, 2016 kamibox, There should be an option to "reselect" the already played levels even if they were solved during the first run and already Spoiler matched the goal move counts . Some of the later levels truly require precision swipes with perfect timing to avoid a gauntlet of hazards. Update #1: The timed mechanics in the later levels have greatly soured my initial enthusiasm for this game. I am completely baffled as to why the developer chose to incorporate those mechanics in this game that is meant to be "puzzle" driven. The X-O hazards in the later levels (especially those behind the final "lock") are absurdly punishing and are totally contrary to the "cleverness" established in the early parts of the game. Demanding the player to make split-second precision moves dozens of times on a tightly rhythmic schedule with no room for error and instant failure is a big turn-off. Unless I am somehow missing a trick in tackling those levels, I simply don't understand the sudden change in direction that the game is heading. Original: kamibox, the blinking intervals for the X-O hazards in many of the later levels are too tight! Levels 78 and 79 are barely passable. Level 83 and 86 border on being unfair. Unless there is another solution I missed, I am not convinced that it is reasonable to expect the player to be able to make 3 or more rapid distinct orthogonal swipes accurately in less than a second within one / singular X-O blinking cycle to pass the hazards.
