I've not spent enough time to be sure but on the face of it there seems to be more going on. Most of these management sims like Mall Story and Hot Springs are 12 to 15Mb, where as this is showing 183Mb installed. Hopefully this means there's more stuff to do. Will report back accordingly. Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #10 Stronsay, Jun 10, 2016 The shop is not showing any IAP as such, aside from the option to have 24 hours of advertising to gain some in-game coins. I should have more time tomorrow to study the 29 page manual in detail. Spartyfan6262 Well-Known Member Jan 4, 2015 228 0 0 #11 Spartyfan6262, Jun 10, 2016 Same here. Game is showing as $5.99 for me. Jayg2015 Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2015 3,734 41 48 Male Player 1 Liberty city #12 Jayg2015, Jun 10, 2016 They must have raised the price . Mine says $5.99 and someone told me it does in fact have iap. But not sure for myself because I didn't see where it had iap. Want to play but no solid news or review wizisi2k Member Jun 10, 2016 20 1 3 #13 wizisi2k, Jun 10, 2016 The game is indeed $5.99 with no IAP. What looks like a paid currency is actually bought with in-game money or rewarded through three challenges you can do daily (rewards may be 30 coins or cash). There are items that drop the premium currency-2 of them. One I have not seen more that two from and the other a max of four. The amounts are supposed to be random. There is actually a 50% bonus to buying the currency in the winter. Sadly, one save per device but you can swap train stations at the end of every year, earning 40% of the income your other stations generate. I believe it is so much higher due to higher res textures (grand prix story went to over 100 MB on my iphone 6s+ and the newer free to play games from Kairosoft are also up there pseudoart Well-Known Member Mar 9, 2013 59 0 0 #14 pseudoart, Jun 11, 2016 Last edited by a moderator: Jun 11, 2016 It's a bit odd. There are gameplay mechanics from f2p games, but with the "premium" currency being earned in game. Researching, for instance, takes hours but it can be sped up with the currency. To be honest, right now I feel like I paid for a game that uses all the things from f2p games with no way of actually buying more currency. I can watch ads to gain more, though... I hope I'm wrong! WTF? wizisi2k Member Jun 10, 2016 20 1 3 #15 wizisi2k, Jun 11, 2016 The adds are like the 30 Second adds in bitcoin billionaire- at the bottom of the screen but only there for 24 hours IF YOU DO THE 30 FREE COIN DAILY OPTION. In no way have I seen an add that covers the whole screen or a video add. Worst you see is coins for following them on twitter and sharing it-one time bonus per (opening and closing page in safari and saving a draft e-mail work for this) maiyr Well-Known Member Jul 17, 2014 54 0 0 #16 maiyr, Jun 11, 2016 but those coins are just easy to earn playing the game. I gained over 100 within the first year of playing. cameron331 Well-Known Member Nov 22, 2010 163 4 18 #17 cameron331, Jun 11, 2016 Last edited: Jun 11, 2016 I haven't spent enough time with this to say if it's worth getting, but the first thing I noticed is how much 'newer' the game feels. The interface and menus are improved, and the whole thing feels more polished. It still has the Kairosoft charm, but feels upgraded. One of the biggest UI improvements is a box near the bottom of the screen telling you what you should do next. Very helpful for learning the game. There's a mail system for newsletters and such, instead of them just popping up. The item system is improved as well, and makes much more sense now than in other games. Fun so far, and easier to get into than some recent games. cameron331 Well-Known Member Nov 22, 2010 163 4 18 #18 cameron331, Jun 11, 2016 In game hours, not real hours. fabianb Well-Known Member Nov 1, 2014 1,009 0 36 #19 fabianb, Jun 11, 2016 I like it a lot so far. Played it for 60 minutes or so. There is so much going on. # And yeah it feels like an upgraded version compared to the other kairo games. It feels fresh. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #20 orangecan, Jun 11, 2016 This makes me Very very tempted. I feel really bad that the price is putting me off because it shouldn't - I just find kairosoft games really hit and miss and I'm reluctant to buy until I've read a full review. Alternatively when I've had a few beers later this evening I'll probably just buy it then.... (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
