Just bought, will be back with imps! Testopi Well-Known Member Dec 12, 2013 153 0 0 #5 Testopi, Jun 7, 2016 I've beta tested this gmae. It's like Bloxorz with a diffrent twist. The game design is very minimalistic. The game is fun, but the later levels are very hard. Some levels have over 50 moves! TheGreatEscaper Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2014 1,025 22 38 #6 TheGreatEscaper, Jun 7, 2016 I had a different level 7 to the one in the trailer. Are the levels different for each player? I'd hope not. Possibly the level 7 in the trailer is the old one? Testopi Well-Known Member Dec 12, 2013 153 0 0 #7 Testopi, Jun 7, 2016 I don't think so because there's a Hint-System via Twitter. The levels are the same for everyone; as Testopi pointed out, if the level generation wasn't deterministic, the Twitter hint system wouldn't work. ultramegatronic Member Feb 28, 2012 9 0 0 #9 ultramegatronic, Jun 9, 2016 Developer of Flipominos here. Adam is exactly correct, trailer was made before final algorithm tweaks and everyone gets the same levels. He would know as I've bent his ear about the game a lot over the past months! That everyone gets the same levels was an important part of the design not just because of the Twitter hint system, (which I only thought of well into development), but mostly because that opportunity for a shared experience was important to me. Happy to answer any other questions! Very excited as Flipominos just got featured in the "new games we love" section of the App Store, with a very visible showing right on the front page. So cool! mzinn Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2014 770 0 16 #10 mzinn, Jun 14, 2016 Looks pretty interesting. Any more imps? (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
