That one has been in soft launch for more than a year... I even think it was removed from the NZ App Store. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #5 syntheticvoid, May 25, 2016 It was published by Chillingo (if I'm remembering correctly), so there's a chance that they had a contract or something and it ran out. Or they could have just been sick of having to go through Chillingo in order to update their game... I dunno... Definitely willing to give em the benefit of doubt... I feel sorry for developers who use Bulkypix or Chillingo... over the years just so many horror stories of updates never getting submitted, poor customer service and having little to no control over the micro-transactions of their games... so... good on them for getting out of it, no matter what the case was. I hope it works out for them in the future. redribbon Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2010 2,799 53 48 entepreanur, programmer #6 redribbon, May 25, 2016 so whats different this time? any new features added? syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #7 syntheticvoid, May 25, 2016 I doubt it... Definitely going to support this, live and let live but tired of these weekly endless games. This week appears to be one of the best weeks for releases. It seems like there is at least 1 quality game for each genre. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,715 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #9 squarezero, May 25, 2016 I've just spent a few minutes with the game, but I'm getting a PSP Burnout vibe from, which is a good thing in my book. Don't think I ever played the Chillingo version, so I can't say how much this one is improved. Will play more on my way home and try to report again. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #10 syntheticvoid, May 26, 2016 Last edited: May 26, 2016 Just checked this out, and aside from daily rewards and Facebook/Twitter integration, there's a new currency:;: stars. Also, balancing is a bit different. You aren't given as much of the main currency. In the original, I could upgrade everything on the original car twice after the tutorial, and in the new version, I lost out on that last upgrade (by -800 coins). I could, of course, get more coins with the new second currency, stars, if I were so inclined... ***i should also mention that the original had a $0.99 price tag, and this one is F2P... So it's to be expected that currency balancing was done. I haven't gotten too into it. I don't know if every car can be obtained with the original currency or if stars are just supplemental instead of really needed to unlock anything... Just letting people know what I've noticed so far. mmohunt Active Member May 19, 2016 35 0 0 Engineer Berlin Friedenau #11 mmohunt, May 26, 2016 Its graphic looks so good!
