There really are not many tight dual-stick shooters out there besides Geometry Wars, and that's played-out.. So I just wanted to say really quick this game has my thumbs up. I got to play for a bit and it is fun. There is no IAP or anything. The controls and combat are great. I love the upgrades. The AI is aggressive. I will have a more full review tomorrow but I just wanted to say what a great job! Get this game people. It's good. It didn't keep anything I did or upgraded or bought recently. It's as if I tapped new game. I went back and tapped play. Samething. I tried selecting continue again. Still reset. It's not saving anything. Until this is addressed I will hold off on playing. You finish the level, upgrade and start a new level, quit midway through the level, you lose your upgrades that you just implemented, but keep the cash before the upgrade. To combat this, how about making another save point after you upgrade? This should help alleviate that issue. Great game and loving it, highly recommended! We are also looking at improving how the weapon upgrades look in the store menu. We think players see new weapons with no upgrades and think they lost old earned upgrades. If you restore a previous weapon you will see it saves the old upgrades correctly. We think maybe moving to a single screen in the UI will eliminate any confusion. With that out of the way I have 2 feature requests: 1) a red arrow pointing in the direction of the closest enemy. Sometimes I'm running around for a bit to find the last few enemies. A red arrow would really really be helpful. Just like when you get the yellow arrow when you've killed all of the enemies. 2) a better save system. If I upgrade something and exit or do not finish the next level I shouldn't have to redo everything. It should be saving when I'm done upgrading. Or have a manual save button? What about iCloud is that on the roadmap eventually? There will be more to come I'm putting together a full review. I REALLY like the spread gun and the photon torpedoes I really do recommend this game. I've been playing it for the past 54 hours, only taking breaks to empty my piss bucket and answer the door for dominos. My mom gave me $30 to go to the mall but I just spent it on more pizza to keep my gaming going. Very fun but would not recommend playing it, too addicting.
