Set off on an adventure with your heroes and raise yourselves against the forces which are ravaging the county of Acilion. Quests, dialogs, spells and decisive choices are the components of this adventure with an enthralling storyline and intuitive gameplay. FEATURES • A roleplaying game with an enthralling story which is far from formulaic. • Recruit, train and improve your heroes: weapons, artefacts, spells, skills, levelling... • Make them speak with other characters: your choices will greatly influence the story. • Each hero has his own personality: the composition of your team will also impact the storyline. • Explore huge 3D dungeons, inextricable forests, haunted mines, forgotten temples and a lot of other places: each of them corresponds to a quest. • Travel in a vast world from the big map and see where your friends are playing (if you have friends - if you haven't, we can't help you) • Use puzzle games to control your heroes and cast spells in combat. • Play with your friends: lend heroes to each other during battles, offer coins of gold and action points and help them unlocking exclusive quests (friends are not provided with the app) • Play for free: in-app purchases are possible but *never* mandatory. • A large dose of humor! An internet connection is required to play this game. AN IMPORTANT NOTE: downloading and installing Celsius Heroes is free but some in-game items can be purchased with real money. If you do not wish to use this feature, please disable the in-app purchases in your device settings. ASSISTANCE Are you experiencing an issue or do you want to report something about the game? We'll see how it pans out long-term but there's a good seed of a story in place too and plenty of sub quests with a narrative basis. Jorlen Well-Known Member Jan 7, 2009 1,094 2 38 IT Canada #5 Jorlen, Jul 17, 2016 It's too bad an internet connection is required to play it. I wonder why? Ads? What are the in app purchases like? Just for consumables or are there doublers, etc? Looks interesting anyway. Le0ben Active Member Jul 22, 2015 31 0 0 #6 Le0ben, Jul 17, 2016 About the internet connection, it's needed as requests are sent to the server for some actions like using the forge, moving on the map, starting a quest and so on. However we're trying to find a way around that. Might be handy in the subway for instance. The in app purchases are more slots for the inventory, more Action Points, chests which might contain rarer weapons (but you can also drop those weapons when playing in dungeons). There's nothing in the iap that can't be obtained freely and there's a loyalty card giving gems from time to time too, among other things. Thanks for your interest and if you feel like testing the game, let me know how you feel about it. Enker Well-Known Member May 15, 2014 85 0 6 #7 Enker, Aug 5, 2016 I'm disappointed that this fine title never got reviewed here Le0ben Active Member Jul 22, 2015 31 0 0 #8 Le0ben, Aug 25, 2016 Update 1.10 Update 1.10 is out! We've made a dev diary about it (that's our first one, complete with heavy french accent and not looking at the camera, so please don't be too harsh on us ): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zz8j38j0Zk New features * The upper floors (6 to 10) of the Tower of Babel, which can be replayed in a higher difficulty level each time you complete them to increase your chance of obtaining rare items, are now available. * The ranking of the Pantheon of Heroes allows you to know who among your friends or in the world has reached the higher difficulties in the upper floors of the Tower of Babel. The ranking of the players who have reached the same difficulty level are decided based on how fast they have completed the corresponding floor. * The Bladeforge: a new place in Urba, you will find there the Master of the Bladeforge who will help you in unravelling the mystery of the fogotten artefacts... * In addition to common, rare, very rare and epic weapons, you can now forge legendary weapons of unrivaled power. There is also a slight chance of finding such a weapon in golden chests. * The First Circle of Nimrod : once you have completed the upper floors, you will be able to face Nimrod, the Builder of the Tower of Babel. But do you have a chance to defeat him without legendary weapons? * New enemies with special spells and abilities: new wily enemies will wait for you in the upper floors and in the quests linked to the legendary weapons. You will have to be even more cunning than before if you want to defeat them. * The tree of offerings is now available in the Tower of Babel and will allow you to throw away any bulky equipment. * A quest of a higher difficulty has been added to the weekend quests: The Treasure of the Dragon. * The total weight that your heroes can carry has been rebalanced according to their classes. A hero of level 35 will always be able to carry the best pieces of equipment for his class. * Most of the spells of the heroes have their cooldown strongly reduced, allowing the heroes to cast their spells quicker. If you have any feedback, let me know. I really like this game but think you will drive away players if you continue to charge AP simply to move from one location to another on the map-that is not even playing the game. Please reconsider this in a future update. I would not spend any money on IAP just to change locations in the game so I could actually play the game. I have nothing against FTP at all but this is really over the line. I have not seen anything like this in other games, and will probably delete it if it's not remedied. Moldar New Member Dec 9, 2014 4 0 1 #11 Moldar, Aug 29, 2016 So, I can understand your point but have to disagree. This game, in my opinion, adds a nice touch of RPG and puzzle. When I was in the dwarven mines, I had to choose to trek back to town to level up and learn skills. To me, it's realistic and immersive. Maybe it isn't for everyone, but I'm totally into this game! PS: I need Facebook friends to get more freebies. Post here and I'll add you. Or PM me Le0ben Active Member Jul 22, 2015 31 0 0 #12 Le0ben, Aug 29, 2016 Well, Moldar pretty much sums up why designed the system that way. Btw Moldar, if you're looking for other players to exchange APs, feel free to join the "Friends of Celsius Heroes" group. You can exchange APs there with other players who want the same thing: https://www.facebook.com/groups/FriendsofCelsiusHeroes/ The group is smaller than the French group "Amis de Celsius Heroes" (we're a French indie studio), so feel free to join this group too if needed: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1641974586054190/ We have some players creating videos to help about combos, sometimes twitching... So this may be of interest to you too, although it could get a bit confusing if you don't speak French. And thanks for the support, always glad to hear about a player who loves the game! PBSNellie Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2013 1,381 168 63 Southern CA #13 PBSNellie, Aug 29, 2016 I have to respectfully disagree. I expect to wait for AP or energy (or whatever you want to call it) to regenerate after I have actually played the game. But using it up just to move about the game is not what I want to spend it on. And I don't use my Facebook account for game playing. So until this changes (which evidently it won't), I will just have to play one of my other hundreds of games. Have fun. gheff Member Oct 30, 2009 5 0 1 #14 gheff, Aug 31, 2016 Agreed. I want to love this game. I love the quick quests; perfect for mobile. Spending AP on moving around the map on the other hand may be realistic, but it is not good game play. It's not fun. And I'm honestly not interested in dragging my Facebook friends into things. I just want an honest match-3 RPG that I can pick up and play without online silliness. I wish this game were it. Moldar New Member Dec 9, 2014 4 0 1 #15 Moldar, Sep 1, 2016 Maybe, you add some level of random encounters as you travel. That could give a value to the AP spent on the journey and still fit the design decisions you've made.
