Bushido Bear is an original action game by Spry Fox, the developer of the award-winning games Triple Town, Steambirds & Alphabear. Defend your forest against endless waves of evil demons by hacking and slashing through your foes with two giant swords! Slice and dice the invaders for as long as you can survive. As you play Bushido Bear, you'll unlock new ninja characters and upgrade your existing characters, which will change the way you play the game. Lone Cub is slow but can slip past enemies thanks to his tiny size. Smoky Bear can teleport anywhere instantly. Neo Bear slows down time as he plans his attacks. You'll want to collect and experience all the bears! This is a fun change of pace. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #5 vectorarchitekt, May 12, 2016 It's a great game so far. Played it last night but this morning it won't load up. It keeps "processing". I was hoping they wouldnt do what they did with Alpha Bear and require some kind of online connection or anything to do with a server to play. I would have thought it was the Game Center bug but it worked for me last night. raravan Well-Known Member May 18, 2014 829 38 28 #6 raravan, May 12, 2016 absolutely playable in offline mode. jpgold Well-Known Member Sep 21, 2012 1,818 56 48 Online Ad Sales - Pandora New York, NY #7 jpgold, May 12, 2016 Having fun with this but the only frustrating thing is how easily you can die. I died a lot in the beginning until I got the hang of drawing the line NEXT to the enemies. It's has some cool level ups too. Lots of things to earn. The quests seem to refresh 24 hours after you complete all 3 of them which is weird instead of every day at a certain time. new_ipodtouch5G_owner Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2015 386 46 28 Canada #11 new_ipodtouch5G_owner, May 12, 2016 I am really enjoying Bushido Bear. It did take a few attempts to figure out not to swipe directly at the enemy. But once I figured that out, the game was a lot more fun to play. Kind of reminds me of one of my favorite games called Axe in Face that was released by Blue Carrot Design back in 2010, which is still on my iPod touch today. I'll give this a go. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #13 vectorarchitekt, May 13, 2016 I deleted and reinstalled and it works fine now. It does take practice to not swipe through the enemies. The game looks fantastic. Delkur Member Oct 4, 2009 9 0 1 #17 Delkur, May 13, 2016 Defeat 3 enemies using armor? I recall seeing an armor token during the tutorial, but now I've been stuck on this quest for 2 days and haven't seen a single armor token pop up. Do I have to get past wave 12 to get to a wave where an armor token exists? H4nd0fg0d Well-Known Member Mar 30, 2010 1,905 0 36 #18 H4nd0fg0d, May 14, 2016 I believe I've seen a few. I assume it's the one with the shield on it? I know that my play style has evolved from attempting to swipe all my moves. Now as enemies spawn I tap beside their local and wait to deal the swipe. I only swipe for attacks. Taps for movements. Anyone who has spent time with this probably already knows this. After some sick combos I get something that puts a sphere of protection around me and I get those quite often. Not sure if that's the armor. toshiX Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 76 0 6 #19 toshiX, May 14, 2016 I'm having problems starting this game. Other than having played on 2 occasions, the game is always stuck at the processing screen. Really frustrating.
