I like the humor and it's definitely a very polished game. But most of the first half hour was cutscenes and there is sooo much dialogue (I guess that will appeal to some more than others). Plus, the character walks sooooo slowly. But I'm sticking with it, since it's entertaining enough. Also, the iCloud saves make it easy to take on the go without having to play on my iPhone at home. Here's some gameplay footage if you want to see what it's like (note it's not optimized for the iPad screen, but fills up the iPhone --- the opposite of Tormentum): Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Edit: It's getting more interesting now, but still...so dialogue heavy. Be prepared for that. Fun story, though. Yeah, I absolutely love that some point and click adventures aren't in the 2 GB range. This being 500 MB and Tormentum at 300-something is just perfect. Broken Sword games are some of my favs, but so much bigger than this one! Might be longer, though. NYC #14 collider, Apr 28, 2016 I'm complete opposite when it comes to point+clicks. iPad is perfect fit for these types of games. Most platformers however, I prefer on computer, or better yet, Apple TV. Though I wish Apple would drop the silly "has to work on a remote" rule... I think that's holding off a lot of really good games that should be there that just work better with controller. Ghostdog1 Well-Known Member Jan 30, 2015 319 125 43 #15 Ghostdog1, Apr 28, 2016 I'm a big adventure games fan. And i was waiting for this release on ios. The graphics in this game are awesome and the voice acting is good. Not a big deal, but the game is missing the "doubletap to change location" feature and the slow running speed of the character will make you sometimes mad. But for me the real problem are two poorly worked out essential points an adventure needs. First of all the scenerios are filled with nice details but nearly nothing is clickable. And second the puzzles are not challenging enough. And this has to do with the missing clickable details. Because in every scenario you can only click on the important stuff to go on with the story. So you nearly never need to scratch your head. How a character reacts to unimportant stuff in his world is one of the most important thing in an old school adventure. Cause it reflects the thoughts about the world or even about the player who is playing the character. And much more... I would also like to see the notebook in the jacket more as a hintbook or questbook and not like a walkthrough as it is now. After finishing it, i got the feeling, the devs had to bring the game for some reason too early onto the market. Like if someone did say to them: "We can later in an update put in the non-forward-pushing-story-details-comments and highlighted areas. Why not release now?" Bad decision. It could be so much more. You'll notice the title says "The Interactive Adventures of..." and I really feel this absolutely nails it. Sure, it is a P&C at its core, but if you just think of it as a graphic novel that you can mess about with, I'm sure you'll see just how fantastic it is in a different light. The speed of Pizza Boy, I certainly agree with though. imdakine1 Well-Known Member Aug 23, 2011 1,228 22 38 #18 imdakine1, Apr 29, 2016 Is this about an 8 hour experience as stated earlier? Tobi@Fishlabs Well-Known Member Sep 26, 2012 149 0 0 #19 Tobi@Fishlabs, Apr 29, 2016 Hey guys, cheers for checking this lil' game of ours out. And glad to hear that many of you enjoy it. Admittedly, there is quite a lot of dialogue in it, but it's a great narrative and a fun story to follow. So personally, I don't mind that at all 'cause following the dialogue rewards me with a lot of chuckles, laughter and surprises. Did you know that the dialogues and story have been written by the Filipe Melo, the original author of the Dog Mendonca comics? So especially if you are a comic lover, I'm sure you're gonna love that game as it basically as you act out the story of an all-new comic book by yourselves. Also, in case there are any b-movie and horror fans among you, did you spot all the nice little easter eggs and homages the writers and developers have sneaked in there? At one point, you even stumble upon the infamous Howard the Duck!
