I might check it out pretty soon (= tomorrow on my way to the office I reckon). In any case, IAPs are just convenience based, right? I also wonder, how long did it take you to develop it? ^.^ Lavender Well-Known Member Dec 31, 2013 2,966 0 36 United States #6 Lavender, Apr 22, 2016 Last edited: Apr 22, 2016 Deleted. Sorry. Not so sure it's too much more than a reskinned cross road though... ImJPaul Well-Known Member May 23, 2012 840 0 16 Male MGMT! Baltimore #10 ImJPaul, Apr 22, 2016 This looks kind of neat. QuickWit Well-Known Member Oct 28, 2008 548 0 0 Video Writer, Director, Producer Salt Lake City, Utah #12 QuickWit, Apr 22, 2016 Picked it up and there are some pros and cons with the game. First, I like the overall theme a lot. The look is cool and it's fun to play. I also really like that you can move around in all directions. I had one run where I was able circle around a few times and the get a group of zombies to get hit by a car. And that brings up the other like... Making zombies follow you into the street and into oncoming traffic. That is really satisfying. On the negative side there is hit detection. At times I felt like I should have made it past a car only to die. Also the controls take a little getting used to. It's not that they aren't responsive, it's just that the character doesn't move like the famous chicken. It's hard to describe but you don't get quite the feeling of speed like you do in a Crossy Road. Also missing are the other characters like you see in games like this. At the moment there is just a boy and a girl. The good news is that you can upgrade them through coins. I haven't done that yet, but after about 10 minutes I had about 1100 coins, so it seems that coins aren't a problem. There is a "coin doubler" in the IAP. I don't regret the $2 purchase and might get the doubler, but it is up to you if paying up front for a game that is in a genre filled with well known Free games. It's inly $2 so if the idea of avCrossy Roads that switches out a load of characters for upgrades on the few you have, I'd say to pick it up. And don't forget the part about guiding zombies into traffic. Graphics and sound are well polished (well for me). The only thing I notice is the controls. To be honest the controls of this game is very bad. It really annoys me when I die just because of the unresponsive controls. Swipe swipe but still the character is not moving. If he moves, he goes to the wrong direction. So sad. Hope the developer can optimize the controls of the game. Users will regret buying this game if the unresponsive controls stays the same. TurboWheels Well-Known Member Jan 28, 2015 99 1 8 #15 TurboWheels, Apr 22, 2016 Thank you all for your feedback. Actually we are considering to implement a new D-pad control mode, do you think it would work better for this game? Jayg2015 Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2015 3,734 41 48 Male Player 1 Liberty city #16 Jayg2015, Apr 23, 2016 Controls are perfect please don't do the d pad. That is the worst control on a touch screen. The upgrades are what people aren't understanding. Once they upgrade there guy the frustration goes away. That way, the people who like the original controls will be happy and people who want to use the d-pad will be happy. I certainly prefer the latter. TurboWheels Well-Known Member Jan 28, 2015 99 1 8 #20 TurboWheels, Apr 23, 2016 Thank you collider! Definitely Watch out Zombies! is much more than Frogger (Crossy Road), here you got all this that you don't have in similar games: 1. Enemies (7 different zombies) 2. Kill the enemies in a humoristic way, make the cars run over the zombies or make zombies fall to the subway tunnel. 3. Complete over 25 challenges + 20 achievements 4. Player upgrades 5. And much more (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Page 1 of 2 1 2 Next > Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Password: Forgot your password? Stay logged in
