Imo it's a bit too much like limbo. The puzzles are solid, although you havr to solve some puzzles by looking for hidden rooms, so you're bumping into walls. That's fine if you're looking for hidden extras, but for solving a puzzle that you have to solve in order to continue the story it feels kind of cheap. In the end its a very good game though. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #3 metalcasket, Apr 15, 2016 Been endlessly checking the App Store for this for the last 24 hours, so it's fantastic to finally see it out. Does a certain quota of hours determine whether something is "fun" or not? Couldn't you enjoy a game that was 3 minutes long if it was "fun"? Granted, I'm not a big platformer fan, so I was enjoying it more before I got to this point with the all the spikes and platforms. But the jump button is pretty awful. There are many times I just walked off a platform because my finger didn't hit the jump button or it wasn't responding -- not sure which. On top of that, it's really easy to miss things that you need to interact with. I gave up pretty early because I didn't see a way to get past this point and didn't feel like backtracking through spikes and platforms to see if I missed something. Anyway, it rubs me when folks that obviously could be spending a little extra time doing their own thing go the lazy route. Saw that Goo Saga is coming out on iOS. Instead of bashing me for my impressions of the game from what I played -- give your own defense of why it's so great and people should play it. It's mind-boggling how many times people on here just like to say "you're wrong" or "you suck" instead of explaining what *they* like about a game. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #20 squarezero, Apr 16, 2016 Hey, hey, hey -- no bashing here! I was agreeing with metalcasket that the game is better than the impressions suggest; I certainly did not mean to insult you or anyone for not liking it. As to why I'm actually enjoying the game, I guess I'm appreciating the puzzles, especially the way they use subtle but predictable cues that feel good to figure out. While it's clearly "inspired" by Limbo, the atmosphere is not quite as bleak and disturbing, which I kind of dig. And, controls aside, the game is really polished -- something that often doesn't get enough credit. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
