This is an interesting take on the otherwise familiar tangram or similar dissection puzzles, with the added constraints that certain pieces must be placed in order (so not to obstruct each other) and can only travel in restricted paths. The earlier puzzles are quite straightforward (perhaps a bit too much hand holding). I presume they will get more complicated later on. Admittedly somewhat lost on the abstract pictorial story, at least for now. So far a very polished experience. Beautiful art style (suitable for framing on a wall). Definitely agree with the developer about the relaxing atmosphere. Extra info: This is the same developer who previously made another puzzle game called Blue Box which I enjoyed. chomi3 Well-Known Member Apr 7, 2015 60 2 8 #5 chomi3, Apr 14, 2016 Hey, thanks for the comment! I'm very happy you like the game! The game has no tutorial, so couple of puzzles had to be realy easy, in order to subconciously pick all the game mechanics. It's getting more interesting on later levels Or at least it's what I've been told by the players Regarding the story... it's there, believe me It has a lot of space for "free interpretation", but I believe it has a meaning. At least it had when I was writing it. Have fun playing! btw, that's a great surprise you know Blue Box So cool to hear you like it. chomi3 Well-Known Member Apr 7, 2015 60 2 8 #6 chomi3, Apr 14, 2016 #1 in AppStore Woah, now that's surprising Zenge hit #1 in Polish AppStore in Puzzles and Adventure categories. Definitely agree with the "high art" style the developer was trying to convey in the game's presentation. Also agree with the puzzles' increasing difficulty as the game progresses, but none of them are at all taxing in any way. As the developer already stated, the game was meant to be enjoyed in a relaxing manner. The relative simplicity of the puzzles worked well given the intended goal. It is quite short. I was able to finish it in about an hour, working very casually my way through. I think it is one of those in which where you are playing for atmosphere and not for cunning puzzles. In this context, this is an easy recommendation. chomi3 Well-Known Member Apr 7, 2015 60 2 8 #11 chomi3, Apr 14, 2016 Hi guys, thanks for the kind words! I'm so happy you like the game! Pretty ok game for what it is. Maybe for me a bit on the easy side, but fun enough to continue playing it to the end. Georgina Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jan 30, 2010 361 7 18 Sydney #19 Georgina, May 2, 2016 So much to love here! Great artwork, great music and great puzzle mechanics, and also no timers or counters. The difficulty ramps up nicely, and the constant introduction of new mechanics means I was always engaged. It'd be nice if the faded lines were brighter, as it was often a strain on my iPad Mini 2 to tell which colour was which. Green and yellow were especially similar. I also found a couple of small bugs, all in the last few levels. - On 6.3, there's no indication where the finished shape is meant to go. There's only a couple of possibilities but that seems like an oversight. - On 6.4, the top right piece (the one shaped like a squared-off Y) doesn't change to the image when it goes into the right place. - On 6.11, Spoiler I was able to pull the piece with red/blue/yellow in the middle down next to the piece that has only yellow in the middle and have them join. (I did it on the two dots on the left side, half-way down the screen.) The collision detection doesn't seem correct here -- they should bounce off each other due to the jagged edges. - On 6.12, with the red lines showing, I was unable to move the leftmost house shape upwards along the red path even though it looked like I should've be able to. None of these errors were game-breaking and they were easy to work around. Overall, a delightful experience and one I hope there might be more of down the track.
