After playing the Game for one hour I can tell you so far that there wasn`t anything in the Game that I havent seen yet in any other of those Match 3 Mobile Games but still since My Little Pony: Puzzle Party I did enjoyed playing my time with the Game up to a point where I knew that I should better just stop playing or otherwise I would probably play the hole Game through in one run or only stop when I wouldn`t really be able to keep going on since I had used all my Lifes (Hearts) in the Game. As you would expect it from a Game of this Genre you will run around on an World Map from Level to Level and meanwhile the Story that does play in the My Little Pony Franchise will slowly evolve while each of the My Little Pony Characters you might know from the Cartoon will be introduce to you. At the beginning most of the puzzles are easy but starting at around Level 10 you will feel that the Game does make a jump and from then on the Levels get a bit more tricky and so you might have starting here a bit of a harder time to get passed those Levels if you don`t watch out what you are doing. Being a Freemium Match 3 title My Little Pony: Puzzle Party has the usual Timer, Live,... System were you can try to play through the hole Game without buying anything in the InGame Store or put some money on the Table and make your life a bit easier. It will be interesting to see how much balancing went into the later levels and how much the hole iAP System in the Game might be needed but so far I only had an issue with one Level that I afterwards manage to get past without any issues at all a second time when I was replaying it and at a later point it was clear from the beginning that you should definitly not run into a Game a couple of rounds but instead plan your steps straight from your first tap since that would make everything a lot easier for you. Conclusion: Backflip Studios's My Little Pony: Puzzle Party is an solid Match 3 Game with an interesting and enjoyable Story (if you enjoy My Little Pony cartoons as I do) that doesn`t reinvent the wheel if it comes to the Match 3 Genre at all but still does offer enough of Content that those that enjoy playing those Games will for sure just play the hole Game through in one run. Rating: None at the current moment* *= The Game is currently Soft-Launched and I don`t rate any Games while the Developer are still polishing their Games. And it is indeed a surprisingly good title - yes, they'd like you to shovel money their way, but having reached level 24 or so, I've not yet had to do anything but try again; there aren't any timers blocking your progress. It's basically a Match 3, true, but it's a good example of how to pull something like this off well. Porsupah Well-Known Member Oct 4, 2008 132 1 0 http://www.ringtail.com/ #4 Porsupah, Nov 24, 2016 Has anyone completed level 143 without spending money, and if so, how? Overall, I'm impressed - they've maintained a very good balance, with timers only coming into play as far as lives go: they recharge at the pace of one every twenty minutes or so, with a limit of five. Similarly, there are various useful powerups you can pay for, but (at least up to level 143) they're never essential, merely helpful. I did buy an avatar starter bundle, partly for the extras, but mostly just to help pay for a good game I've been returning to a few times a day since its worldwide release. The animation blends in nicely, and all the original voice actors are present, with two odd (and slightly unfortunate) exceptions: those for Nightmare Moon and Discord. Still, hardly a showstopper.
