The first free one took me like one or two minutes at most (to beat) and was nothing different than the survival runs I played. I'll keep playing survival but I hardly believe they are charging three dollars EACH for what seems like nothing Jayg2015 Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2015 3,734 41 48 Male Player 1 Liberty city #4 Jayg2015, Apr 11, 2016 Last edited: Apr 11, 2016 Wow after playing this game for 30 minutes I bought every episode. I'm not even close to upgrading all my guys on the first episode. So much to unlock, upgrade, missions, leveling all On each character. Why would you support this nonsense AppUnwrapper Well-Known Member Oct 26, 2011 4,062 3 0 http://www.appunwrapper.com/escape-games/ #6 AppUnwrapper, Apr 11, 2016 Last edited: Apr 11, 2016 I wish they would have at least left the other microtransactions out of the game if they were going to charge for episodes. The few minutes I spent with the game were fairly enjoyable, but what's the point of a high score chaser (Survival mode) if you can just buy your way up with cash? Takes all the fun out of it for me. What's with games trying to be both premium and freemium at once? At least choose one. It's like they just threw every monetization scheme in, hoping something sticks. I guess they'll probably make oodles of money from it, though, so joke's on us. speedyph ððððððððâ¡ï¸â¡ï¸â¡ï¸ Feb 3, 2013 372 1 18 #7 speedyph, Apr 11, 2016 ###### Kenan2000 Well-Known Member Nov 25, 2013 1,134 1 38 #8 Kenan2000, Apr 11, 2016 Guys,if you're looking for exploration/survival based games then either check "This war of mine" or "cataclysm - dark days ahead" , that is if you wanted something like that and not a runner game with a shiny name. They aren't getting both from me. If they had a coin doubler I would buy that but that's it. Its a fun game. It's completely reasonable for a ridiculous cost like the one in the game. I probably wouldn't have said a thing if they were a dollar but paying three dollars for two minutes of fun is ludicrous The game itself is really fun and I've never claimed otherwise but the price point is like a big middle finger to me NOEN Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2012 3,245 0 0 U.S. #13 NOEN, Apr 12, 2016 Last edited: Apr 12, 2016 So, I played this for a little while this morning and I don't really get the IAPs. I beat the first story on my first run. If the second story/episode is anything like the first, then I don't think it's worth $2.99 for another run. Let alone the third story/episode. The survival mode is cool and all, but there's just SO much going on with the monetization (is that a name?) with this. I was confused the first 15 mins or so. You buy things with coins that turn out to be locked AFTER you buy them, the IAP episodes are pretty much just different characters that unlock later on. I dunno. The core game is neat, but I can't see myself spending $2.99 for another 3 minute run. Maybe I'm missing something? If I am, feel free to let me know. bigrand1 Well-Known Member Apr 23, 2010 4,968 7 38 Geriatric Party Animal California, USA #14 bigrand1, Apr 12, 2016 Hmmmm... with any luck the dev might whittle down that monetizing thing everyone's complaining about and then I might bite on this. Honestly, I would like it to be in color for all the blood spewing all over the place and whatnot! BUT--- I'm good with the B&W thing as it is, and I like the different perspectives it throws at you! Seems quite repetitive, however, and the video didn't show a bunch of different weapons in action, which I would've liked to have seen! Seems a bit difficult to differentiate between zombies that are actually right in front of you and ones that are off to the side, but the guns seem to nail them all the same anyway, so.... all good! I'll grab this if/when, as I said, the dev tweaks the IAP, etc. I'll keep an eye on it. chief78 Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 2,317 7 38 #15 chief78, Apr 12, 2016 I'm with everyone on this whole IAP and game progression thing...y Lol Monetization aside, can we all agree Nick's character shot is just pure gold?! redribbon Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2010 2,799 53 48 entepreanur, programmer #16 redribbon, Apr 12, 2016 mmmm. hate to say but i agree with this. just throw your money where the dev deserve it. Then you get a reward from runs press next to see missions and then press back to see your rewards again and it will keep adding it. Ofcourse it will probably ruin game for you because in 5 mins you will have everything. istako Well-Known Member Nov 9, 2012 130 0 0 #18 istako, Apr 12, 2016 This is one of the dullest runners I've played. The style is nice but it's just not enough to keep me coming back, after beating the first level I had no interest in paying three bucks to unlock the second I wish the whole game had been a straight up three bucks that would have been worth it maybe.
