There is 2 ways to play. If you wanna match 3 to kill monsters stay in portrait if you actually wanna fight monsters turn it to landscape. you don't ever have to play in landscape/portrait if you don't want too Exact-Psience Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2012 22,664 2 38 The Work-At-Home Guy Philippines #3 Exact-Psience, Mar 31, 2016 Yeah... Been a while now. Radiangames said something along the lines of "CN asked us to take it down as there will be a new powerpuff girls cartoon, and the game might pull fans away from the new show." Yup... It's bull. I hope radiangames get to re-skin PPGDOT and release it coz i'll be buying it again. I havent deleted PPGDOT, never will, until i get a newer device which wont run it. I'm busy with other games (who isn't), but before i even consider to buy, i'll watch some of the long (life streamed) gameplay video first to get some closer vibes. Or is this just endless match-3 play? I don't see any IAP in the App Store. Is there any IAP? anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #11 anthony78, Apr 1, 2016 Level based campaign, mix of match-3 and beat 'em up, no IAPs, and every bit of awesome. AppUnwrapper Well-Known Member Oct 26, 2011 4,062 3 0 http://www.appunwrapper.com/escape-games/ #12 AppUnwrapper, Apr 1, 2016 It's level-based (story) and no IAP. I'm not sure if there's an endless mode you unlock at any point. I'm still trying to master all the mechanics. y2kmp3 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2010 1,784 3 38 #13 y2kmp3, Apr 1, 2016 Last edited: Apr 1, 2016 Is it like Hero Emblems in difficulty? The match-3 mechanics are very different. You have to fling monsters across the board and into each other. I've never stuck to only match-3. I've flipped back and forth on each level so far. The game gives you a lot of ways to survive even if you're having trouble -- like flipping when a girl is down will revive her. But you're scored at the end of each level and there are bonus levels that can only be unlocked if you get a lot of A+ scores. Edit: I'm going back to earn A+ for levels I didn't ace the first time around. I'm paying closer attention to the match-3 mechanics and needing to spend less time in the action mode. But getting an A+ for each level is getting tough. Monster Island is so spiky! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
