But there's 1 small thing that really annoys me. When I die, I want to start a new game asap. But now I first have to watch a 'do you want to continue'screen, then I have to watch a dying animation, then the game shows me my score, then the missions I've completed, then there's a screen where I can upgrade my powerups, then there's a starting new game animation and then there's a screen where I can buy powerups. Maybe it seems a bit like nitpicking, but for me it's a reason to stop playing. LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,280 1 38 #3 LordShad0wz, Mar 30, 2016 Wow what a release day! Now I can consistently get 100m plus per run. That's probably not great but compared to my previous efforts it's a massive improvement for me. One question. How far is it to the stage 1 guardian bot? I'm stuck on that mission and have never seen the guardian bot. LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,280 1 38 #6 LordShad0wz, Apr 1, 2016 Last edited: Apr 1, 2016 He's far but not too far. You'll notice a change in the terrain when you are close. I've made it to the fourth boss. You have to upgrade your suit and use the video for boosts and save up batteries for continues. I absolutely recommend purchasing the double coins. That was a no brainier. You'll want it to upgrade your suit as it does get expensive. Plus the game is worth it. Also let yourself slide a bit if you are too close to an enemy and then jump around it or wait for your homing missile to take it out. You can also grab and slide on the walls. You want to make rank 8 as soon as you can for the suit upgrade with 2x the homing missile reload. I'm almost there. I just made rank 7. I had to start over from the beta. It was painful hehe. But the homing missile is the absolute best part of the suit and has saved me and kept me going more than anything else. Wait for the next big update. They are adding a female character for the lady players as well as more suits with different colors. I asked them for a jet black suit and they are delivering! I love these devs. I really do. There are no energy mechanics. No crap. You can play when and how you like. They only have opt in ads for certain things and they put in currency doubler and their consumable IAP is well priced. As much as I hate free to play I support these guys with my money. Especially since it's a fun game. Billy sobriquet Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jul 30, 2015 1,216 1 38 #7 sobriquet, Apr 1, 2016 Thanks, I'll take your advice on the controls next time I'm Dashing. I've also learned that fast taping will basically make you go straight up with very little sideways movement. You just have to be careful when you stop so your not in a bad spot. Also, if you fast tap up the side you can get past the bots that hang around under the ledges. You just slide right past them and they can't touch you. I'm going to get the coin doubler later today when I can put some more credit on my iTunes account. Another question, all but one of the upgradeable perks are part of the suit, but one of them is a magnet. Is that an in game pick-up? I haven't seen any magnet so I'm curious what I'm buying with that upgrade. On the F2P subject, I'm starting to like certain types more and more. We've had this one, Hammerbomb, Super Arc Light, Tomb of the Mask, Splash Cars and many more. The number of free to play games on my device is growing faster then I ever thought it would. I was thinking of starting a thread for fairly balanced, non aggressive IAP and fun f2p games where people can list their favorites and maybe find some new ones. Mostly though I would want it to point out that not all f2p games are looking to take up residence in your wallet. LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,280 1 38 #8 LordShad0wz, Apr 1, 2016 The magnet is part of the suit and is upgraded at certain ranks like other parts of the suit. Check the suit button to see what ranks it upgrades. Billy LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,280 1 38 #9 LordShad0wz, Apr 2, 2016 I do wish there were permanent IAP's for each of the boosts. Even if they were expensive. I'd probably purchase the x2 missile and increased dash height boosts. Then still pay/watch ads for the others. What do you think devs? It's also still too hard to obtain batteries. They go very fast when you are trying really hard to rank up. I just blew through 55 of them in one play lol. If you put them in the levels you could have a battery doubler IAP. Also devs I figured out at the start of the game if you swipe across the laser line the game won't start. That needs to be fixed. I finally made rank 8. Now to get to rank 12. Let's do this lol Billy Exact-Psience Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2012 22,664 2 38 The Work-At-Home Guy Philippines #10 Exact-Psience, Apr 2, 2016 Sigh... Red flags for me. My favorite thing about it is the picture of the device in the picture. My second favorite thing is you can still watch ads to double your coins after a run. I'm really liking this game. I feel bad I missed out on beta testing. I signed up, but I just could not get the hang of it so I never played it much. Having missed out on that opportunity I have some small feedback. I would like more stuff to spend coins on. At some point I'll run out of stuff to spend them on. You have the power ups which are used to have better runs to get more coins, but there's no score tracking so eventually it will be about getting coins to get more coins. And it would be really cool to have a scoring system. There doesn't seem to be a reward for defeating bots except for coins. It would be neat to also get point rewards or even a way to see your distance records and some game stats like bots killed, total distance traveled, highest stage reached and stuff like that would be fun. I think this is the last thing, I think the geo fence for the missiles is a little too big. It took me forever to complete mission 8, partially due to my missiles destroying bots before I could get to the elevating platforms. It was really frustrating. This really is a good game. I'm having a blast with it and I can't wait to see some updates and new costumes. Thanks for the great game playmous. You rock!
