Which was deploying your units to attack the enemy HQ while at the same time defending your own against the enemy. This time around munkyfun have given the game a over haul in the graphics department with a nice 3D units that will recoil when firing their missiles, shells etc. The the environment has had makeover, you can find yourself in ice, desert, swap and even in a middle of thunder storm. We now have a base to look after which you upgrade over time to give more of a edge, yet this does seem to be the weak part of the game. Unit leveling has been changed indeed of sacrificing units you now have to use scrap to level up your units and then once you reached your cap then use a unit to level them up to the next star. Of course like its original the game is "free to play", and i just hope they learn the lessons from the original and not try and use the players that support the game as cash cows. I did buy the starter pack which was around $7 and that give me more then enough to enjoy game. A Three star unit does make a big difference in the early part of the game. Chests was another area that players felt the munkyfun and GREE where ripping them off by showcasing big rewards but getting junk when opening the chests in the original. At lest now there is bit more transparency in what you can win. The Generals Chest where you can win at lest 3 stars units. Free Chest is every 2 hours from this you can win scrap, 1 or 2 star units. Campaign Chest you open by winning campaign missions which can give you 1, 2 or 3 star units (1 star seem to be what drops the most) Raid Chest you open by winning PVP - Energy, Tech or Unique Units which could drop from this one (Tech items seem to the one dropping at present). As i said before for me it's the overhaul of the graphics that really make it nice looking game and will continuing playing this game for a good while yet. araczynski Well-Known Member Oct 5, 2009 1,467 0 36 programmer omaha, ne #3 araczynski, Mar 30, 2016 very nice graphics, haven't seen anything close to this in this genre before. Genre expanded to be a P2W upgrade grind with multiplayer (read: everyone steal from everyone) from what little I've had time to play. No iPhone to iPad gameplay gets an insta-delete from me. How game developers can neglect such an essential mobile feature is beyond me. Glu games are exactly the same, so I guess both developers are in the same camp. Disappointing. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
